Our trip to the Eye Doctor

Friday morning mom and sis got up early and got dressed all different. (We know something is up when our humans put on those fancy pants.) Then they took our crates outside and put em in the car. We really got nervous then. Last time we went in the car, they took us to a pretty park and had a fun walk. This time we got in the car and drove and drove and drove. I heard them say it was over an hour drive.
I did not like the bumpy roads. Or those big roads with all those noisy cars next to us. Sometimes a truck would go by, boy that made my head tilt. I haven't been feeling well either. My poor tummy is all upset.
When we finally stopped, they took us to a tiny patch a grass to go potty. But I just wanted to chase those cars I saw flying past me. Then we went in a building and I saw some other doggies. I barked and barked at them, but sis would not let me go meet them. I just wanted to sniff their butts, geez!
Some lady came out and told mom and sis to bring us back to a room. We got in there and a doctor lady sat Wink on a table and poked at him. She stuck drops in his eye, she poked it with a pen-thingy, and put this weird hat on to look at it too. She let Wink go back to mom then took me to the table to poke at my eyes. She was talking to the humans while poking me. Saying that we had old scars on our eyes. And our puggy eye hairs were scratching our eyes and making them full of pigment (what is pigment??).
She said I had so much pigment, it was like I was wearing sunglasses all the time. And it would take a year of medicine every day to make it better. I saw mom and sis start to cry, I was confused. I thought that sounded like good news! Maybe those humans cry when they are happy too. They are weird like that. I tried telling them those other doctors were wrong. I can see just fine. I mean, I watch tv sometimes!
We got back out of that room and sis still wouldn't let me go sniff the doggies. Then we had to go back in the car again. When I finally got home I needed a long nap!
