Likes: Running; whether that's around the house or inside an incredibly cramped room, he'll run. If not.. he sulks :P
Pet-Peeves: He has none really; the dog is not phased by much!
Favorite Toy: Anything he can sink his teeth into; that includes the kitchen table
Favorite Food: Hard to say, but he has a habit of eating revolting things on the beach
Favorite Walk: The ones which last the longest
Best Tricks: Milo knows: Sit, Down, Wait, Bang (play dead), Hi five, Ron (look cat!), I'm sorry (look sad and wag tail), Look (there's something outside). He also gets very upset when he hears the name 'Ferrero'... we don't know what the tennis player ever did to him!
Arrival Story: He was adopted from the same breeder that we got our other dog (Max) from. The two are related, Max is Milo's uncle :)
Bio: Milo is an absolute nut-case. He does some extremely stupid things which, if I'm honest, questions the sanity of this pup! He has had a head on collision with a car moving at a fair speed, but please don't feel sorry for him. He ran towards the car as if he could take it on (which he of course couldn't) and let's just say he was left with a small bump on the head and a feeling of slight embarrassment! Fortunately he wasn't at all hurt, but unfortunately he doesn't seem to have learned his lesson... oh Milo :P
It's surreal isn't it? Updating my diary finally! The problem is that now one of the humans has gone and left the pack, life is just a little bit more dull.
I mean sure, walks are still exhilerating, food still tastes amazing, a lie on the sofa is still as relaxing as ever, but without the whole pack around it's just... different.
Now I can understand she's not here, but sometimes I hear her voice- I'm not going mad I swear it! I've been looking out the window to see if she's there, but nope. The people point to the computer screen and tell me she's there... how would a person fit inside THAT?
But life goes on, and I'm told she's coming to visit soon. As I am a self-respecting and cool canine, I don't let myself show emotion... but between you and me... I'm excited. :)
Max and I were 'gifted' some collars today. I use the word gifted loosely, because they were second hand (or second paw...). Max got an old one of mine that was found at the bottom of a cupboard. It's brown in colour, and not very worn, so that's okay.
But I got a black collar that they found behind the range- it was covered in dust and soot! It was cleaned up, and then placed around my neck. I got the black one because Max is a black lab, and Max got the brown one because I'm the choc- so now we look like opposites!
I suppose they're okay, I can get used to them I think :)
The black collar may have belonged to Tess- a dog I never knew. It was after she passed that I joined the pack. She was a black labrador like Max- and apparently a big tomboy who had the attitude of a police dog. There are some characteristics that the people say Tess passed onto me! For one, the tough exterier that a stranger may be wary of, coupled with the soppy silly inner doggy that wouldn't hurt a fly!
I may not have known her but she seems pretty cool- I'm proud to now have her collar! (that doesn't mean I'm proud to wear it though). Tess has had a profile on Dogster for many years now, check it out!
I'd better head off now, I think I see the sun poking out from beneath those clouds...
