Sunny Skies lap sitting`

Mom scooped me up and put me in her lap today, I quite liked it, Dad took our pictures. It was a lovely sunny day, like many that we have had lately,. I go for walks on the cool green lawn, and look at the flowers, and try to bite the bees as they hum along. I love children, and watch for them always, sometimes they come to visit in our park, they are such fun to watch play I do say. We are having our park paved again, and it would seem that mom is stuck at home for 24 hrs. that should be fun, perhaps we shall play a special game, I sleep so much I miss some of the fun, she wakes me up and says Jazzy do you want to play, I shift my fine fur about and stretch and usually just change positions, but cookies perk me right up` I love to sniff the night air, and tonight I shall go to see what I can see, maybe a porky pine or sompin we'll see.

Sunny Tuesday~

Hello dogster pals,. I had a lot of fun outside today, greeting my neighbors, I love people, and especially when it is sunny and loverly,. Mom and dad planted lilly bulbs today, and roses, which I love to smell,. I wanted to go out and play and chase bunnies or sompin today though,. But I tend to jump over the picket fence where I live,. I did one Easter but I always come back,. but it scares my mom,. I love to run so fast that my ears fly I love it I love it I love it,. Everyone always ooos and ahahahs, when I go outside, they think I am rather lovely, which I am inclined to enjoy a lot,. I do act a bit aloof though, they look longer that way I do believe,. woof woof~

A Rainy Afternoon`

Hello dogster pals, How in the world are you today? I hope that it is sunny where you are, we furry friends sure do like the sun and the blue skies don't we? I jest lay around on rainy days, lookin fur treats waggin ma tail and generally dreamin of chasing sompin. Mom and dad left this afternoon it was, together mind ya, now I don't mind sa much if they do it separately, but it seems to me that one of um could stay by and watch me sleep. I like kitchen smells of cookin, I like to check on mom, and know that she is in there, ya know, it is no fun on a rainy day to be all alone. I have to look fur things to wag ma tail about when their gone,. See then some times I get it into mischief, not that I want to be hmmm trippin but sometimes a gal gets busy with lookin to do, if you catch ma sniff? ah hah, I know that ya do. Rainy afternoons alone are not too fun. Keep those ears floppin, those tails waggin, and fur goodness sakes take a walk on the sunnyside. Affy hugs,ya all~

On Being Six~

Hello Pupsters, Woof Woof,.
Being six hasn't changed me a bit,. I am feeling a whole lot better, and playing with my toys, and running thro- the house occassionally though. Mom has been spoiling me, just a little,.

I had to bark and shine a bit the other afternoon as mom and dad came home from church, for she saw a lady out walking her little Yorkie, and she had to see it and pet her, Su Su, was her name. I wanted to go out to see her too. She was watching me the other day through the fence and mom didn't even see her, but I did, I wanted to play with her sooo bad,. but I guess I pounced about too much and scared her though. She ran all the way around the house and up the front pourch,. My mom wants a little Yorkie soo bad,Probably to sit in her lap, but I can do that. I hope she just has me though, cause I don't want to share mom and dad with anyone else now that you know Wee Rose is gone. I like being the one and only,. Woof Woof. I love to bark, Woof Woof, esp. at the brn. postal truck, that always gets a rise out of me,. Woof Woof`

Guess I'll be six awhile and see if I become more beautiful or if my ears grow longer hmm. Affy hugs to all my pals.

The Day After~

Mom and I are lounging today, she is home from church, and doesn't like it too much, and I am not feelin to grreat either,. I have my little turkey in my bed with me though and mom said i left my cushy bone in her bedroom by her bed last night, I sort of crawled under her bed, half of me, and put my head on my cushy bone,. Mommy woke up and said, "Jazzy what's a matter in a real soft sweet voice, and I howeled I must say,. I am inclined to love a little sympathy, but she said I whined a lot, and she took me outside,. she sure bundled up a lot, snow and frosty air and icy ground,Then when we came in she fixed my bed up in the living room for me, I take my pillow out of it some times and so she put it back in and told me to get into bed so I did,. and I slept the rest of the night. I guess she is going to call the doc, if I continue but I don't like that either,. My mommy loves me though, and I suppose she will see about all of this for me,. Being six may not be all it is cracked up to be. whimper, nose tucks.

Tara's Visit~

Bow Wow Wow~ I got to meet my mom's daughter for the first time Sunday,. Wowzer` I liked her a lot,. She petted me, and talked softly to me. I grrrd, just a little when she crouched down in the galley, beneath the saloon doors, as Jack calls them to look at me, cause I was pearing under them to look at her,. I followed her all around, and she got rather tickled to see me do that, I prance a little when I am excited,. Gosh~ she was pretty, My mom was so excited she gave her lunch, and my favorite, Cookies. Wowzer, Cookies are my favorite,. I get so excited when you say it, I dance a little, and shake my head and ring my bell,. Whew` Cookies,.` Mom sent a whole tin of cookies,. home for Eddie,. Gosh he is lucky Huh?

We all had a wonderful visit, I had to put my head in Tara's lap a few times before she left,. she liked it I think,. I sure liked her,. She has a little Jack Russel, named Minnie.and another dog named Zoe, who likes Eddie pretty well,. She drove a beautiful blue Z Car which looked pretty fast,. Maybe I will get to see her again, I sure hope so,. She took me out for a little walk, and even got me off the gravel pad,. Yeah, to see around the corner, but I get my paws dirty in the grass and stuff I guess, but I like to do it,. and I like especially to grab a flower or two very quickly before I am noticed too. Aint life fun?

Arroo, I got to tell someone, Oh such a thing happened today,. A Bath for one thing,. And that is not all,. I was suprised at the end when mom got out the clippers, and what do you suppose she did withthem? Well, I got a saddle, that is what she calls it,. then she got a small little clipper, that she called her peanut,. I don't know , but I have seen her use it on dad,. She shaved my face, which I did not like, then my neck,. which I did try to move, but mom said I was pretty good,. but my feet,. that is the worse fur me,. I danced a little,.

When this was over, I did get some chicken jc. over my kibble, and Wee Rose and I shared this together,. We liked it a lot,. some times I get chicken, then I dance a lot, and get really excited, you know that is the best thing that I have ever ate,. i think.

I don't know about my saddle though,. Dad is always calling me a little horse,. I don't know what I am going to do with it,. but don't try to get on me,. I simply will not stand for that,. I want you to know.

I am a little embaressed, as mom put a picture on my dogster page of me, in Wee Rose's bed,. I don't know why, Oh yes, mom had sprayed my bed with flea spray, and then used some roses spray,. I didn't like that stuff at all,. So you see, I had a good reason,. I always do,. I am a good girl Affy,. I am very polite,.

Mother had some company two wks. ago, the lady Eileen, was from England, and she trains doggies, I liked her immensely, so I put my head in her lap a lot, she stroked my fur and spoke to me so politely,. I think that she liked me too, she told lots of hillarious stories, and my mom laughed out loud a lot,. She used to train horses, and prepare them for the Queen of England, isn't that the coolest thing> One of the stories that she told, was when she talked about the barn duties, and the queen was coming in to see her horse,. and Eileen had a bucked full of poopy, and she hid it behind her back,. but it smelled particularly bad, so of course the Queen commented on that too. Eileen used to ride for her also,. She is pretty, and my mom likes her and her husband Jack a lot,. We enjoyed them,. they had a little fur friend of their own. which Eileen takes everywhere with her,. He like to ride in the car,. not me, boy, that is another story,. His name was Winston,. and he was most curious, and particularly liked Wee Rose, but she didn't speak too kindly to him,. and really liked Charlie,. His kitty had passed away, and he really missed having her,. So he just wanted to get to know Charlie so much, But Charlie, being Charlie, was having none of that,. And Wee rose, sat on mom's lap a lot,.

I don't generally go on this much, but I had such an afternoon, it really helped to tell you furends all about it,. Now I am good to go. and snooze. Auvoir

Yeah, it is going to be my birthday, Thursday, mark that down don't forget,. Cause I am going to be five big years old,. I am pumped about it,.

Had to share, I have been running around trying to get mom to buy me goodies,. and give me presents,. I told her that I don't get to be five but once in my doggie life,. She said "Jazzy, you are a cutie pie,. and full of smiles,. So I guess I am,. full of smiles of anticipation that is,.
