Well mom has tried to change the diary name, but it doesn't work, in fact the words keep getting smaller and smaller each time she tries and now she can hardly see them.

Already sent Dogster a message a couple of days ago, but so far no response!

I was thrilled when I found out I was named Dog of the Day on May 6, 2014.

I didn't even know about it, mom hasn't been keeping up with reading the emails.

Mom said I'm going to have to start paying her for being my secretary!! HA, fat chance.

I want to thank everyone for all the nice gifts and comments.

Great News Jordan Has New Hope for Recovery

I just read that after Jordan's mom had been saying good bye to him for about an hour yesterday, the vet asked to talk to her. He told her that he had been doing research on human procedures and found a vet that does them on dogs.

She didn't want to get everyone's hopes up until she knew more so she didn't say anything.

All of three of his vets agreed that he is not in pain and still has fight left in him.

A vet in NYC reviewed Jordan's case and believes they maybe able to help him non-surgically, the procedure is called Interventional Radiology/Endoscopy and it embolizes the bleed area.
It is currently being done on humans, but this vet is going to do it on Jordan and give him the chance he deserves to live.

Jordan had to have another surgery yesterday and things didn't go well.

The vet's, who are specialists in this surgery said his intestines were in to bad a shape and there was nothing that could be done for him, except to let him go.

Everyone who knew Jordan's story wanted him to live and enjoy the life of a dog, he was a great fighter, but God must have wanted him by his side and now Jordan is a Rainbows Bridge.

Jordan will remain in the hearts of many people forever for his valiant effort to live, and yet he was sweet and loving even though he was in pain.

I know his owner (person he was surrendered too) is suffering, she tried everything, to save his life, but it wasn't meant to be.

Jordan is one of those dogs that touched the hearts of very many people and will not be forgotten.

Poor Jordan

Jordan has been having an internal GI bleed, but they can't find out where it's coming from, so they finally found something called a Pill Cam.

They should be able to get the Pill Cam on Saturday, but mean while Jordan is losing blood everyday.

When they get the Pill Cam it will be put down Jordan's throat and into his stomach area and hopefully the information they get will tell them where the bleeding is coming from. Then Jordan will have to have surgery again.

The only problem may be because Jordan has had so much surgery the scar tissue could cause the camera to get stuck, the company says that the camera has been used on cats so that may not happen, but if it does he will have to be operated on to remove the camera.

It's going to cost $3000.00 to use the Pill Cam, etc., and so far they have raised only $180.00. I really am praying this works and they can fix Jordan, he's so young and has been through so much already, he deserves a chance to be a dog.

Mikey's Blaming Me!!!!

Ok, so I had the pink ball from the fishes mouth in my mouth, the fish is still in one piece.
Mom's posting a picture on Mikey's page that will show the guilty party.

I can't believe I get blamed for tearing stuff up, I will admit I do tear things up sometimes, but Mikey's no angel.

Jordan Please Continue to Fight

Jordan has been on medication for a major GI bleed, but it's not working and right now he's in need of blood, but because of all the IV's he's had over the last two months they are having trouble finding somewhere to use.

His doctor is checking to see if it is an upper or lower GI bleed and he may need surgery again.

Anyone who has seen his pictures when he was first surrendered and how he looks now can see he appears to be having problems gaining weight, which with all he's been through wouldn't be unusual.

Mom's upset, Jordan's been a real fighter through it all, but how long can he continue to fight and he needs the strength to keep fighting.
Yesterday he seemed like a normal happy dog, then a little while ago his gums were white, why can't he get better, he appears to want to, but he'll need all the help he can get to get through another surgery.

Jordan's Not Doing Well

Jordan seemed to be doing ok when they let him go home, but he's back at the vet hospital with neck and face swelling.

It seems no one can figure out why he seems to be getting better, and eating and playing, being a happy guy, and all of the sudden something goes wrong.

He had part of his intestines removed in the very first surgery, mom says there must be something that they're missing, one of those things you just can't find or don't think about.

Been praying for Jordan everyday since the beginning, and hopefully my prayers will be answered and he'll be able to get better and be the happy, playful puppy he should be.

Jordan and his Caretaker

Sorry this isn't a good update on Jordan. Last night he got up every half hour and had to go outside because he had diarrhea, he was having it sometimes while he slept. He can't seen to get comfortable and the vet will be advised. This was around 430 this morning and I just checked and there is no update on his condition.
The granddaughter of the person caring for Jordan was admitted to the hospital yesterday because she was having trouble breathing on her own, so prayers are needed for both.
I admire Jordan's caretaker, she deals with a lot of other things and even when things seem to be all bad she still keeps trying, I hope she continues to do so.

It looks like all our prayers have helped Jordan. Yesterday there was a video of him outside hunting around where pieces of food had been hidden.
This is such a big improvement over a couple of days ago.
