My Mom and Dad volunteered to foster another Keeshond who was badly neglected. We call her Shadow because she likes to stay in the bathroom where it is cool and dark. They told us she is afraid of fire works and thunder and doesn't like going outside in the dark. She walks with us in the mornings but she will not go with us at night. Mom tries to talk her into going with us but she will run out the front door, squat, does wee wee, and runs back inside. So right now she is only taking one walk a day while Sandee and I take 2 walks a day. Anyway if you know anyone that would love to give Shadow a forever home please contact us via email. She needs a study and loving environment so she can feel l0ved and wanted.
Wednesday night there was some loud noises that my sister and I didn't like hearing. They went boom and pop pop so we just kept on barking to get them to stop. Mom kept telling us that if we didn't stop running in and out of the doggy door and barking she would "tranc" us. Well talking to us didn't do the trick so Mom gave us a piece of hot dog with a little white tablet in it. Well an hour later we got really sleepy and tired and when the boom booms went off we didn't care anymore! Anyway I think that was the best nights sleep I've had in a long time.
Well here we go again having to take that nasty shower with all that water and soap. I have to say this is not my favorite thing to do. Mom said I smelled a bit "doggy" so off goes my collar and I'm marched into the bathroom. I tell you this bathing thing is just wrong. Anyway I decided I was out voted once Mom got me into the bathroom and shut the door. Mom stood in the shower stall and called me and I stepped into the shower all by myself. Thats when she said to me "Good Girl Abby, Good Girl. It worked out as a hot day anyway and it did feel nice and cool to be a bit damp part of the day.
