We moved!

About a week ago me, my Mom, Dad and Bentley drove from Santa Barbara to our new home in Sandpoint, Idaho. It's crazy cold here and snows a lot! Bentley is absolutely LOVING it. He goes to work with my Dad each day and they play in the snow a lot. I'm not going outside very much because its way too cold for me but that's not all bad since I get to hang out with my Mom all day. She's pregnant and having to rest more that usual so I've been taking advantage of the warm lap. Can't beat it.

We don't have internet access right now so my visits on Dogster are limited. Can't wait to get back into the game with everyone.

October 24- Pet Idol Entires Accepted

Okay so my Mom sent out invites to one and all in hopes they will vote for me...I really want to win the Pet Idol Contest so I can be in Animal Wellness Magazine and show everyone what a "special" dog can do.

All the money raised goes to rescue and if I win my Mom will donate the money to my foundation.

I have been paralyzed with bladder issues since I was 4 months old. I turned 6 in April and was just told by my doctor that I had will have to have a catheter placed in my bum for a few weeks to help clear a nasty infection. I'm okay, I feel great and am as spunky as ever but this news is really hard on my Mom. She is so worried about me. I over hear her saying, "I'm so grateful for the gift of Molly and all the time I have had with her", I think this makes her feel better because she says it a lot.

Once this all happens I'll let you know how I am feeling and if all is well.

Gracing the beach at the Santa Barbara Outrigger Race

July 21, Molly graced the beaches of Santa Barbara for her Dad's outrigger race. She had a fabulous time sunbathing and running around saying hello to old friends and new ones. Her best buddie Charlie (baby) was there...she was happy to receive his pats of love and all the food he gave her. At one point Molly was making Charlie laugh so hard he fell over. It was truly a great day for Molly...who was happy to go home and rest after her morning on the beach.

Santa Barbara Pug Rescue Annual Pug Party

Molly dressed in her flower girl dress from our wedding came to the party ready to impress. Showing up fashionably late...running into the party like it had to start the moment she arrived. She rolled around for a bit in her wheels and then tried for the simpathy card by pulling herself on the grass. Really she was just trying to get around and find food and was irritated Mom took her out of her chair.

Molly won first place in the best dressed contest. What can we say...she's a star!

Fundraiser at Off Leash in Santa Barbara

On July 12, Off Leash hosted a Pug Pizza Party at their store. A portion of the proceeds went to the Molly Inspires Foundation. Molly, tired from her day at Camp came in full pug spirit running around the store and eating way too much dog pizza!

We thank Off Leash for their continued support of Molly and the foundation. And to the wonderful Dogster pugs who showed up that day....especially Dante!

Spending some time with her friends at camp

On July 12 Molly went to UCSB to visit with some kids at the Junior Wheelchair Sports Camp. The kids loved her and Molly adored all the attention. A documentary crew came to follow us around and capture all the smiles, questions and inspirational messages the children had to say.

It was an outstanding day for all of us, but Molly was all smiles all day.

I'm a little late on all my entries. Molly has been a traveling wonder the past few months. On June 2, Molly and a pack of friends scampered down State Street in beautiful Santa Barbara showing the thousands of spectators that anything is possible. Her spirit and spunk also won her the "Best Helping Paw" award for her work with elementary school children. It was truly a stellar day for Molly and Molly Inspires Foundation.
