Arrival Story:
I got Roxie as a birthday present in 2001. Since my childhood dog died in mid-2000 all I wanted was a Corgi dog. As my birthday approach she conspired with my family to locate one for me. When I first saw Roxie she was inside a crate at the pet store, sharing it with a little Pug. I took her with me to play with a little in a handling booth, and it love at first site. There was a little squeaky Martian in the booth, and we played fetch for a while. Have you ever seen a Corgi puppy pounce? It's ridiculously cute. When I took her home she was so small that she fit in my hands when held together. My dad and me stopped at a Wawa on the way home, and I led her onto some grass to see if she had to goto the bathroom. She was very scared and confused, and it didn't help that she disappeared in the recently cut grass!

Bio:
Roxie is a very loyal dog, particularly towards my mother and me. In 2003 I had to leave the country after I was activated as a member of the Marine Corps Reserve. I was away from home for 7 whole months, and Roxie wore a little yellow ribbon so she wouldn't forget about me. When she did see me again, she ran laps around the house in excitement over and over again. I think she missed me a bit. Right now I'm going to school in Washington DC, so she's living with my folks back in NJ. But soon I'll be moving into a pet friendly apartment so she can come down here with me! Roxie really misses her bestest friend ever Ralphie the Moose more then anything. This new guy Max that is around is suited fill Ralph's collar, that's for sure.
