Arrival Story:
Henry had been in the San Antonio pound for three weeks and then at a foster home for a month when I stumbled across his profile at an online adoption site. He was heartworm-positive and had shown up at the pound with such matted fur that he had to be shaved, but I fell in love instantly. Now he's heartworm-free, his fur has grown back in beautifully, he's gained weight and he's one of the happiest, friendliest dogs I've ever had or even met. I adore him completely and couldn't ask for a better companion.
