Arrival Story: We had been looking to adopt a dog, but then we met a woman who was relocating her puppy to a new home. She was a young woman who was getting married and her circumstances didn't allow her the time to take care of a puppy. She and her boyfriend had bought "Coco" from a local pet store. Winnie, as we renamed her, came home with us the day after we talked to the woman on the phone, and she has been living here happily ever since.

2008 Highlights: -Received my Herding Instinct Certificate in February '08
- Went to Huntington Dog Beach and Long Beach Dog Beach for the first time (both off leash dog beaches)
- Went to Wags for Wishes in July and tried lure coursing and sprint races!
- Learned how to swim (or rather, learned that I COULD swim)
- Went on a day camping trip where I swam for the first time!
