Arrival Story:
I volunteered at an animal shelter temperment testing dogs and teaching training classes. I temperment tested Nevada when he came in and fell in love with him instantly. I used him as a demo dog for class the next two days. I already had a dog and three cats in an apartment so I was set on not getting another dog. The shelter staff saw the bond between us and when I would leave the shelter they put up an adopted sign on his run. For two weeks I kept saying I would think about it and finally one day I stopped in unexpected and went to see him. When I saw the adopted sign on his pen my heart sank. I went to the manager to ask when he was going home. She smiled and said when I sign the papers at the front desk, they were already filled out with all my information. Bio:
Nevada picks up new behaviors almost instantly. His attitude and tricks got us our current job at a theater in Pigeon Forge, TN. I have a group of 11 rescue dogs and we perform tricks nightly as part of a family show. We also do rescue events and school shows. He loves to perform and he and the other dogs have done several commercials, videos and print ads for magazines. He has been on Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movie Channel, and other main channels. He was even on Animal Planet's Pet Star with some of his furry family. We love to bring smiles to peoples faces and work as advocates for shelter dogs everywhere!
