Arrival Story:
Samantha was found lost on McChord AFB. She was picked up by a family, twin 2 year old girls, cat, mom/dad. She was here for about 2 weeks. She was taken to a local vet and was found to have been shaved and a scar present for neuter. She has all her permanent teeth. The local vet said that she was probably near a year old. The young lady that found her placed an ad in the local papers after there was no notice of the owner claiming here. I went to look at the dog and she was very apprehensive. I was a stranger, after all. After I took pictures and discussed the dog with my wife, we decided to take her. She rode very well in he truck and upon arrival at home, Buffy rushed to greet her. After the initial shock of a 110lb German Shepherd comming after her, she settled in and adapted to the new surroundings very quickly.
