Arrival Story:
Ruthie and her two sisters were all waiting for a home in the county animal shelter. We met Ruth's sister first, but she was very fearful and just too timid for us - so we went back to the run and asked to meet Ruth. She seemed timid too, but a little more outgoing. The moment we got her home, timidness went straight out the window! She went charging right into the house and into the face of visiting dog, Chica, who promptly bit Ruth on the nose (just barely scratched it, an insult more than anything else). Ruth's face was priceless - totally shocked! "What kind of place have you brought me to!?" But soon all was forgiven, and Ruth became fast friends with her buddy Chica (who went to the bridge a couple of years ago).

Bio:
Ruth also enjoys chewing holes in our clothes. Countless pairs of jeans, a few shoes, several towels, and at least one swimsuit have been decimated by her powerful jaws. But we sure do love her!
