Queen Elizabeth-I am the boss of the house.

Doggie Dynamics:

Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:
-mutt-dog rescue

April 4th 1993

I love to spend time playing with Mama Lisa and taking walks around the neighborhood. I also like to spend time in my yard and the woods. I love children but am very protective of Lisa.

I am wary of strangers, my sisters Dixie, Susie, and Freckles can get on my nerves sometimes.

Favorite Toy:
I love to chew rawhides and I do love my stuffed beaver toy.

Favorite Food:
I love dry food, hamburgers or cheeseburgers and any canned dog food.

Favorite Walk:
I love to walk around the neighborhood. Unfortunately for me I am no longer allowed to run the neighborhood freely; I have to walk on a leash.

Best Tricks:
I haven't learned alot of tricks; I do shake hands and can roll over and over.

Arrival Story:
I was abandoned by my previous owner who lived behind Lisa and didn't want to be left alone. It took about six months before I would even let Mama Lisa pet me. My previous owner tried to get rid of me before by taking me about 18 miles away and dropping me on the side of the road but I managed to walk back home. He said that if Mama Lisa had not taken me in he was going to shoot me.

I am very intelligent, affectionate and loving with people I know and trust. It does take me a while to gain someone's trust but onced gained never lost. I have 4 sisters, Dixie, Susie, Freckles and Sarah Lee. I added a picture of my Cousin Eve. She was also abandoned and Mom's aunt took her in and kept her.

Forums Motto:
Never abandon your animals.

My Life As Alley

My Sister Sheba

As everyone knows by now my Mommy adopted a new dog-Sheba and like me she is part labrador retriever and chow. I"ve been watching over her since she came to my house to live and she is quite a handful for Mommy. Sometimes when Mommy is sleeping Sheba pulls alot of things out on the floor-blankets, DVD's VCR tapes and she is not beyond chewing. Mommy has supplied her with alot of chew toys which helps.
Sheba is so active she is keeping Mommy active too-lots of exercise and she is a great guard dog. I'm just happy Mommy has another dog baby. She was so sad after losing Freckles and Susie within 3 months of each other.

Back to playing at Rainbow bridge but I'm going to visit Sheba later today.

Saturday morning-Sept 5, 2009 I crossed over the Bridge-Mommy was there with me through it all. This is a wonderful place and I'm no longer suffering-I can run and jump again. My dogster buddies Rascal and Bobby were there to greet me as well as my cat sister Sarah Lee. I can have all the hamburgers I want up here too. Mommy is very sad right now-it was a tough choice for her to make. Thank you all of my dogster buddies-I will still be around watching over everyone. Now it's back to playing with Rascal and Bobby.

Back to the Vet

I knew it would happen-back to the vet for a skin check and this time it wasn't as good. I have 2 bald spots now which Mom washes everyday with a special shampoo. Plus I have to take antibiotics so they won't get infected. Having the skin allergies is bad. Susie's skin is all cleared up now. Also I had trouble walking with my back legs so the vet did a neurological test-he tapped my back legs-then he pinched a claw on each foot which really hurt but at least I don't have any of those neurological problems. Just a visit from Arthur maybe. Today I'm walking great. I still have 1.5lbs to gain-more snacks for me. Maybe Mom will bring some good stuff back from the 4th of July cookout. It is not too hot but it is still a little too dry here. I wouldn't mind a light shower. Back to chewing on the rawhide and guarding the house. I may have arthritis but my teeth are still razor sharp.
