Arrival Story:
Hopkins is a Canine Companions for Independence puppy. He was breed by CCI and is being raised by us - volunteer puppy raisers. Hopkins is our 5th puppy for CCI. He will be trained to assist a mobility impaired individual. When he completes his training he will be a working service dog, helping to enhance the lives of others.
Bio:
In May 2005 Hopkins was released from the CCI program. He is no longer in training and will live out his life making someone very happy. He will be adopted by a loving family. Hopkins is a great entertainer, so we have no doubt that he will bring joy to his new family. Hopkins was released from CCI for fear issues, which is not a good trait for a working service dog. He will, however, make a wonderful pet.
