Arrival Story: Jessie was found in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Memphis, TN. A wonderful woman took her in and alerted Great Dog Rescue New England and they helped her north to Massachusetts and into our arms. She's a Lab's Lab and is a great part of our little family. She loves to fetch and not return, swim, and get belly rubs. She loves to play and run with all her friends in the area. We love her very much.

Bio: Really, do you have a soccer ball?

Forums Motto: Got ball?

Last night my Papa learned what it was like to be me! He found two ticks crawling around on his arms while he was trying to sleep. He got em before they bit him. Then he checked me out. I told him there were none there but somehow he found 5 of them.
This morning he put this grape smelling stuff in my fur. It is kinda like Geri-Curl. I feel so funky. He says it is for the best but I feel like Rick James (Superfreak, I'm Superfreaky!) He wants to put a new collar on me. I said, if it ain't from Tiffany, you can put it on some other dog. I don't want to make a fashion faux paw.

The sun came out on our walk today for the first time in 600 years. My Papa explained to me that the sun didn't actually "come out" but, rather, the cloud cover dissipated enough for our eyes to see the rays of the sun. I said to him, Papa you and I both know that light coming from the sun takes eight a half minutes to hit Earth travelling at a speed of 186,000 miles a second or 700 million miles an hour.
Then I chased a squirrel up a tree and barked at it for a while.
It was a nice walk.
