Ice cubes, bathes, being chased by other dogs, drinking out of the bathroom faucet, hugs, sharing toys with other dogs, and dropping her toys in hard to reach places to create a game for herself.

Strangers who encourage me to jump up on them; mommy & daddy are trying to teach me manners so stop trying to confuse me!

Favorite Toy:
A blue nylabone shaped like a t-rex dinosaur, with it's head chewed off. My monkey friend, with his ears and tail chewed off. Flashy ball. Tennis ball. Basket ball. Anything spherical.

Favorite Food:
Peanut butter covered treats stuffed in a kong. Science diet and I like to sneak garbage off the sidewalk for dessert.

Favorite Walk:
Astoria park, but really anywhere that people and dogs are who want to play with me.

Best Tricks:
And I like to catch balls in the air. Snapping treats up in the air off my nose.

Arrival Story:
We were having brunch with friends and talking about how much we want a puppy, but we would never ever get one while living in new york city. The minute they left, we decided we had to get one immediately. We found a breeder online and a few weeks later, Lola met us at La Guardia.

"Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl. With yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there..."

Well it's about time that Mommy & Daddy came to their senses and moved us to Brooklyn. I love being so close to Prospect Park. And now when they go "to work", I can go lay in their bed and watch kids from the window.

Brooklyn Rocks!

Last Saturday Mommy & Daddy took me to Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Because I'm always trying to get into the bath tub, they thought it was time for me to go swimming for the first time.

I had ridden the subway once before, but honestly, I had forgotten how much it sucks. My bag was so much smaller this time. I don't know why they wouldn't just let me sit on the seat, I would be such a good girl. Daddy says he knows it's BS to put 40 pounds of dog in a 30 pound bag, but the NYPD likes to give subway tickets for redunkulous reasons, as if they have nothing better to do. I don't think that's a real word.

It takes so long to get there. Too long. Mommy & Daddy feed me treats and say we're almost there and that we're getting close to Wally World. Then they laugh. They are easily amused by each other.

So we finally get there and find Dog Beach and they let me run into the water and I was surprised to find how deep it was. Much deeper than the water dish I splash in. So I flailed about as big as I could, trying to stay afloat. The other dogs paddled underwater, but I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't sink, so I paddled hard on top of the water! But water was splashing up in my face, so I tried to eat it away. After a while I started swimming after tennis balls, and that was fun. I found that I go faster if I paddle underwater.

Mommy said "Prospect Park is Dog Paradise, and we live in the wrong borough." Daddy says that I made "remarkable improvement" and I might not have to have professional swimming lessons after all. ~RoooRoooROOOOOO.
