Arrival Story:
Felipe was adopted by a wonderful family here in Houston on 5/17! He now has a big house and two new canine brothers to enjoy! Thanks to everyone who inquired about adopting this little guy. If you're interested in an Italian Greyhound check out IGRH, which can be found at http://ig-rescue-texas.home.att.ne t/ He was supposed to be an overnighter. The Italian Greyhound rescue had been contacted about taking him and placing him--but when we brought him home we realized he's at least half Chihuahua, which means the purebred rescue can't foster or place him. So although we could have handed him off to a different rescue we decided to keep him with us till he was healthy and vaccinated so we could adopt him out ourselves. I guess we're just control freaks like that.

Bio:
Felipe is a character! He's very very sweet and lives to lavish kisses on his humans. He is dapper and funny and has excellent potty manners. He does well in a crate and gets along well with our other dogs. I think he'd be fine in a home with other dogs as long as they don't play too rough. He'd probably enjoy being an only dog, too, especially if he gets to hang out with his people most of the time. Really, he's a doll. If we didn't already have three dogs (the legal limit in our county) he'd be a permanent member of the household. We will ask an adoption fee of $55, which will be donated to the Italian Greyhound rescue. Thank you!
