Bailey's Growing up tales....

My new Brother

Well i guess you could say i am not mamma's only little boy any more. I unexpectedly have another dog around to share my everything with. At first i did not like him and did not want to be bothered with. But since then i have learned to warm up to him. He is my partner in crime. When i want to get into something i am not supposed to, i teach him how to get into trouble ; P. Me and my new brother Scottie will wrestle and chase each other. I like to torment him. Anything that my mom gives him i like to take from him and flaunt it in front of him. I do get a little jealous of him. Like how i have to share my time for getting affection and attention with him. He gets praised more than i do now cause he goes to the bathroom outside. Well he can go right ahead and get those paws dirty in the morning. I have gone outside a few times now. Mom will praise me up and down. I just feel like i need privacy when i go. So i will look for a bush to do my business. Who wants to be stared at while having to go to the bathroom? Not me!! At least i have someone to be with me when mom & dad leave me all alone. I don't like being away from mom especially! She calls me a mommas boy! She even says that the song ain't nothin but a hound dog was created for me. Cause thats what i do when i am not with her. I just cry cry cry. Scottie will try to get me to calm down and lick on me when i cry. I don't know how he doesn't get upset. I don't like being alone. Well at least i am not completely alone now. I am happy to share my aloneness with another dog now. =) I still have some getting use to with sharing everything else. Rouff Rouff ......Bailey

Bailey's discovery of pig ears.

I have to share with all of my dogie friends out there something i am totally obsessed with! Pig ears. If ya haven't had them, you gotta now! I am so obsessed with them my mom has to take it away from me every now and then. She gets a little worried cause i won't go to sleep eat my food or go to the bathroom without trying to make one disappear first. She always gives it back to me at a later time but i get so upset with her when she takes it away. I won't even look at her and just go around sniffing for a while trying to figure out where she has hid it. I have not been able to find out where she hides it yet! I have sneaked into by neighbors humble abode and tried to steal one of theirs. I didn't forget that they were the ones who first gave me one. :P I really like the neighbors they are nice to me and give me dogie treats, and i get to play with my best pal in the whole world Abby. She is a min Doxie just like my self but is black and tan and about 4 months older than me. We have a ball together. I like to wrestle with her and i try to steal her pig ears but she doesn't let me. My mom wishes she had gotten these wonderful treats for me weeks ago when i was teething really bad and biting at her feet. I don't get into any trouble as long as i have one of these delicious treats. I am so addicted to them they keep me busy for a long time. So if you have not had one yet, tell your parents to get them for you! All i gotta say is they are wonderful! Woof i'm out! ~Bailey
