Upstairs, Downstairs

Yesterday, I went down the stairs for the first time. I mastered up the stairs a long time ago. Going down the stairs seemed so scary and hard. Jeannette and Jorge had to stay long after work yesterday so they didn't come home for a long time. I had made my way to the 4th floor but had to wait there. When they finally got home, I was so excited that I forgot I don't know how to go down stairs and jumped down to meet Jeannette when she got to the 3rd floor. She was so proud of me.

First Shots

Last weekend, Jeannette and Jorge took me back to the vet. It has been once month since I tested positive for parvo, but I still show no symptoms. The vet decided that it was okay to give me my vaccinations. Jeannette made Jorge hold me since she had to hold the cats while they got their shots. Cats are much harder to give shots to I think. Anyway, the vet thought it was funny that Jorge didn't know how to hold me. He's not got as much experience as Jeannette. In the end, I was very good and didn't give him a hard time. I was a little scared, but it was really pretty easy.

My first bath

Yesterday, I got my first real bath. Jorge used something called puppy small. Smelled pretty good. I'm so small the bath didn't take long. Jorge said I was very well behaved. After the bath, he sprayed something that smelled like oranges on me. Then, put some funny tasting drops in my mouth. I heard Jeannette mention mint, whatever that is. I got to give lots of kisses after that though.
