YUM!

Well, dogster pals...tonight I was able to open the trash bag and the aluminum foil (very carefully) and get to the 8 pounds of chicken that was left over from the pot of chicken soup that mom made! I didn't eat it all though...it was after dinner and all. But it was memorable, even if I did get in trouble. But why was the bag on the floor if I wasn't supposed to have it, huh????
That's what they get for not paying enough attention!

Snow!!!!

Hello Dogster Pals! I don't get much of a chance to write these days, but mom is avoiding working so she'll help me do it now. I just went on my first x-country run of the season....it was awesome! The snow was great, the sun was setting (even I notice how beautiful it is) and I even met a few other dogs on the trail. It was short, but sweet, and I won't be too sore tomorrow.
My birthday was great, too....I got some cool presents, especially this bungee toy that squeaks at both ends, and lots of treats. But then mom left for 10 days, and I always am nervous about that. Now we are all here and I have everything under control.
Hope you all had a great holiday and HAPPY NEW YEAR! I am going to take a nap now.....

It's almost my Birthday!!!!

Yes, that's right. Christmas Day is my birthday! (Well, we don't know for sure....but that's the day they guessed at.) I can't wait.....I know there will be lots of yummy surprises for ME! We had a HUGE ice storm last Friday and we had no lights or anything for a good part of the day...then it got warm and messy and there were lots of willow tree limbs on the ground and there was five inches of water in the whole basement and mom wasn't very happy. And then it got cold again. Then it got warm again. Then it got cold again. Now it is supposed to snow a lot tonight and maybe there will be a snow day tomorrow! I don't mind any of it....I just sleep a lot and then go out for walks and eat. It's a good life.

Sunday Morning...

Yes,
It is a Sunday morning and I am not happy about it because that means that my family is going to leave me at home during the week while they go to work and I am not going to get that much attention. Shux! Oh well, as I am writing to you I am contentedly sitting on my doggy bed listening to one of my favorite bands the Red Hot Chili Peppers, they rock! It is some of my favorite music just to mellow out to. Not much has happened since I last wrote to you so I will keep you posted.
Well I am about to fall asleep so I will keep everyone posted...

Wow! October already????

Well, Dogster pals, it was such a busy summer that I had no time at all to write! It was pretty eventful My boy was in and out...I miss him so much when he is away at camp. When he came home I wagged so hard I was stiff for a day! I got to go to an ISLAND for 10 days. It was very fun (except for the boat part...I am not fond of them)....I went for lots of walks and runs with the bike and they took me with them almost everywhere. The one day they left me in the house for too long (like, 2 hours!! Can you imagine?), I escaped through a window! However, since I mangled a couple of window screens and tore up the curtains and a window sill looking for a way out, I got in a LOT of trouble! It was not pretty, I must admit....I did some damage! Luckily the owners didn't get too mad....they were very nice people. I don't know what got into me! I guess there is still some lingering separation anxiety there. I don't mind too much being home alone, but when we go somewhere else I am always afraid they will leave me there. Silly, I know. They couldn't get along without me.
So now is it Autumn in Maine and it is very beautiful! I hope we get to go to the mountain soon like we usually do at this time of year. We get to be on the beach now, too. I am very happy about that!
Hope all of you are too. I'll try to write more often.

May flowers...finally!

Yay! It's spring here in Maine. On Sunday we went to Bradbury Mountain and climbed all the way up...I was on TOP OF THE WORLD! I have pictures to prove it. Now everyone feels a lot better about going outside so I get to take long walks at the pond and the parks and the woods. I am too tired to write now but I realized that it has been a long time since I wrote, dogster pals, so I just wanted to say hi!

The Bunny Came!!!

I can't believe it is Easter already! This morning there were eggs all over the place, with treats hidden inside and some of them were for me!!! It was fun looking for them, although someone else had to open the drawers and cabinets for me and stuff. It was a beeuutiful day and I went to the beach with my gal Zoe. We had a bit of a spat...I think she was a bit jealous because I was playing with a lot of other dogs , too, although I think she got over it. I hate it when we yell at each other. I chased my tail a lot and entertained everyone on the beach.
I am getting tired of winter. The snow isn't so much fun now...it is just turning to slush and mud and the piles are still too big. The maple syrup is boiling on the stove but they won't give me any. I had to go the dr. for my annual shot fest and that was NO FUN. So now I am ready for it to be warm and the yard to stop being a mess and to find all my sticks that have been buried all winter.

February Already????

Oh, my ...how the time doth fly!!! (Methinks I am going through a dramatic phase...). I can't believe it is almost Valentine's Day! I have been away from Dogster for a while because mom went off to work somewhere in the hinterlands with my main computer for almost forever. But here I am again and happy to be here. It is still cold and snowy here, so I have been romping outside whenever they let me, and curled up asleep all the rest of the time. the holidays were full of fun and biscuits (seems like ages ago). We had a New Year's Party with so many people I just didn't know what to do. I went cross country skiing (see the photo!!)...well, I ran and ran and RAN while everyone else glided along. I was much faster than them—HAH! It was great fun. I can't wait to do it again, but it's too cold today. So I will curl up on the sofa and think up Valentine's greetings for my friends.

SNOW!

Well....everyone has been SO busy around here that I haven't been able to get to the computer. I am sneaking on now when mom is supposed to be working. She is so easy! The big news is we have snow, snow, snow. Last Monday was even a snow day!!! Play, play, play. What could be better? Maybe the beach, where I went last night with with my love, Zoe. I have a neat little light that flashes (blue!) so they can find me when I wander.
Guess what? A few days ago I got into my first real dogfight!!!!! Wow...I scared them! There is this one dog in the neighborhood that I really hate! I know, it is so unlike me, but he has been mean to me and a lot of others, and I have been itching for a fight, although I couldn't explain why. Dad thinks it is a past-life thing. So...we were at the pond and he came over the hill and I was off the leash! Of course, all my training went out the window and I was on him like a flash. I didn't hurt him though, really, and I wasn't hurt, but I got in a lot of trouble, and now I hafta stay on the leash because we never know when he will appear. I guess it was a dumb thing to do. I bet I would do it again, though.
My birthday is soon!!!! I am going to be 4 years old on Christmas day. (We don't know that for sure....my boy just decided that it was my birthday because it was probably close). It's fun having a birthday on Christmas...extra presents! I learned a new trick yesterday, too. I can high-five now, so I am way cool.
