Likes:
licking everything and anything, tug of war (she'd play it every minute of the day if we had the energy) and "playing" with the deer in the backyard

when her owners pet other dogs, when you stare at her, baths, and any sort of vacuum (she hates the noise and runs around frantically trying to save all her toys from it's path of destruction)

Arrival Story:
i was working at the butte humane society, in chico, ca, and my boyfriend danny came to visit me. he was looking for a dog to keep him company, he lived in a small house on a huge plot of land out in the middle of nowhere, and it was just too lonely being all by himself. so we went to the shelter "just to look", and i fell in love with this scruffly looking dog with big brown eyes. she was just too cute, and so happy despite her surroundings. i fell in love with her at first sniff, and adopted her a week later. now she lives with my boyfriend, and i spend time with her every weekend. she has 1.5 acres to run around on, and many deer to chase, it's a huge change from the small cage i found her in. she's the most spoiled, happiest pup ever, and we can't see how we ever lived without her.

Bio:
she's a lot smaller than most labs, she's a huge bundle of energy and love in a small package, but that's just fine. she loves to play with dogs that are smaller than her, one of her best friends is a miniature schnauzer by the name of rudy! they could roll around and play forever. she also likes to bug two older dogs, buddy (a male german shorthaired pointer) and july (a female afghan hound), i say "bug" because they don't want anything to do with a hyper pup. but that never stops roxy, she demands attention from anyone and everyone, and nothing can sour her mood. she's always happy, and can always bring smiles to our faces.
