it's not a trick, but he loves to bury his nose under a blanket or a pillow when he sleeps

Arrival Story:
we decided to rescue/foster last year and augie was chosen for us.....and showed up via tri state basset hound rescue.....he had some issues that have all resolved and he is loving, cute and a really good boy.....we don't know his age, or his history.....he was found running the streets of newark, nj......he is also missing a tail!......despite it all, he is loving, good with kids, and other pets, and housebroken

Bio:
augie is so funny......we have a parrot, and when she makes lots of noise he answers her with a basset hound woo......then the bird answers him, and it goes on for a few minutes......i wish i knew what they were saying to each other...augie is fostering with us as long as he needs a home, but is available for adoption thru tristate basset hound rescue.......UPDATE: AUGIE DOGGY IS ADOPTED, BY US!!! sad report, augie doggy went to the bridge on july 11, 2005....he died of natural causes while we were on vacation and he was at the boarding kennel.....it was a pleasure sharing our home with you, and a comfort to us to know that we gave you a safe, and loving home
