 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: January 10th 2003
Likes: Toby (her brother), tummy rubs and butt scratches.

Pet-Peeves: People who talk to her in high-pitch "baby talk", flashlights, any type of tool, sudden movements, the smell of alcohol (these are all triggers from her past abuse).

Favorite Toy: Squirrely Squirrel - a stuffed squeaky squirrel toy from Target. She has 4 of them. One of them is usually in the "hospital" getting their spine stiched up, since Lucy likes to disembowel them and throw the stuffing around.

Favorite Food: Raw eggs and dried chicken breast strips

Favorite Walk: Anywhere!

Best Tricks: She does a Cirque du Soleil move with her brother (Toby). Toby rolls over, and she leapfrogs him back and forth. Lucy knows commands in English and French.

Arrival Story: My stepmother was walking through her neighborhood and saw a starved, furless dog sitting on a porch. She asked the neighbors if she could adopt out their dog. They told her that social services took their kids, so they didn't care if she took their dog! I got an email with the subject line "Single White Female seeks home". I opened the email, and there was (Lucy) Bianca. She arrived at our house a couple of days later. She told me her name was Lucy, so we made Bianca her middle name.

Bio: Lucy has remnants from the abuse she endured at her original home. She is either very happy to meet someone, or she is scared of them. She in particular is afraid of tall men. She also cowers and cries when we have a flashlight in our hands. She became catatonic at a party we had when she saw people drinking beer at the patio table. She has gotten much better as time has gone on, but I think she will always have some lasting trauma. She is a very sweet girl that is so happy that she is safe. well fed, and above all, loved and adored.

Toby doesn't like fireworks. We went for a walk, and when he got to the end of the driveway, he wanted to turn around and go back home. So Mommy took me for a walk, since fireworks don't bother me at all. But then I heard Toby barking from the house. I told Mommy I wanted to go home NOW. As soon as I got home, I went to find Tobes. Luckily, he was okay. I just love my brother.

My mom and dad got one of those robotic vacuums...the Roomba. Mom and Dad were concerned that I might be really scared of the Roomba, since I can be kind of shy due to the abuse I suffered at my original "home". But to Mom and Dad's surprise, I slept right next to the Roomba that night. I like it! It reminds me of a puppy. It doesn't bother me one bit. I like to think we work together...I shed the fur, and Roomba picks it up. I love the Roomba!
