Tonight we helped baby Irma to the rainbow bridge.A month and a half ago she developed inflammatory adenenocarcinoma. The tumour grew very big in just a month and these past few days our baby was in a lot of pain so we set her free.
Goodnight abgel, Maron and the kitties are there you. You are always in our hearts...We love you so much.......

I have been as a puppy a victim of animal cruelty.I was thrown with garbage and left to diw near a cliff like so many thousands of other pups here in Greece. I am one lucky pup I guess cause mom happened to be in time there for me and brought me home with her.
But this is not the case with the majority, unfortunately. We have been here in Dogster for almost 2 years now, and mom wasn't sure whether I should talk about all these as children visit this site frequently. However, our children need to know the truth always and be prepared to fight animal cruelty at all levels.
-Animals are not recyclable.
-Animals should be respected at all times.
-Animals are not part of our belongings they are our co-pilots in life.
-Animals are not our servants and should not be treated as such
-Animals have the right to lead a decent life just as we do and it is OUR obligation to provide that to them.
FOR Greece, I hope that no dog or cat is thrown like garbage to die again.Acts like that are depriving humans. WAKE UP!

Rosettes ...Thank YOU ALL SO MUCH

Today is my last day as DOW and can’t wait to pass the title to the next pup…I have left for this final DOW diary entry a special thanks to all those wonderful dogsters who have honored me with their rosettes… You haven’t just made me feel special but you have lifted me up in heaven with your sweet words and your kindness. I wish I had more rosettes left to give back to all of you…Skye, Zipper, Peabody, Reba, Zoe Noel, Thank You humbled , and big bow to you, I am so sorry I haven’t had any rosettes left to youto you!

Well, you guys you would never believe how slow people can sometimes be!!
Our mom, last Tuesday was checking her e-mail, and she realized that we had tons of pup pal requests…That was the first hint, but she didn't get it…She started accepting them when she saw
Bailey's Congrats. I was having my beauty sleep right next to her when I heard that scream.

She opened the homepage and there I was smiling to everyone, from that moment on our phone was on fire and I was given my crown for the week.

Throughout this week I have received the most tender and sweet pup pal requests , rosettes and pawmail.
Since it has been really hectic, I haven't been able to thank each and everyone of you personally but will do so in the few days.

Two wonderful pups, have given us a wonderful idea..to write diary entries about everything…
Well, this one is dedicated to all the wonderful pup pal requests…Thank you all so much for all your love, your wishes and compliments! We have no words to express our gratitude. Meeting and befriended with new doggies has been the best part of my dog of the week although I haven't been able to get back to you all!
I wanted you to be part of my diary so that everyone will be able to see your pages and read my responses.. That is the least we can do to thank you for the time and love you have dedicated to us!

Another day has dawned and Irma's castle is full of husg and treats and wonderful requests from wonderful dogsters!!

What a week…perhaps the best of my entire life…

I have never thought that I could be more spoiled and pampered but I guess I was wrong.
I have been the queen in the household all week long, received the best toys, my most fav treats , gone for my fav walkies and all our skin friends have called to congratulate me and guess what I spoke to them on the phone …this goes for those who assume that us 4-leggers can’t use high technology gadgets, little did they know, right?

The most amazing thing of all this week has been the love and affection I received from all you dogsters…Oh, my dog every day I met new doggies that invited me to be pals, and wow I got so many rosettes and many PMs from old and new friends that congratulated me. How can a girl not feel like a queen when she is in the spotlight surrounded with so much love? She can’t!!! Really, you have all made me live a unique, precious adventure my friends. The best thing that came out was the beginning of new friendships and the proof that love conquers!

Previous DOW winners had been updating their diaries daily , I am so sorry for not being able to do so this week…Yet, I have asked mom to make a detailed list with special thanks for all of you guys who have showered me with love.

Thank You Molly Golightly and dogster

For picking me as dog of the week! I have never thought that I would receive such an honor, But the love we have given and received within this wonderful family has probably made this dream come true. Since what we are can only be estimated through the eyes of our friends...I see this honor as one that has been made to all my pals old and newest ones, and I want to dedicate it ( Yeap, I know..this is not an Oscar but it sure feels like one!) to a very special friend that crossed the bridge a few weeks ago- to Shadow girl.
Words are poor to describe my excitement my friends, I just want you to know that you have made me feel so very special with your PMs , rosettes and pup pal requests. Being dog of the week rocks but having so wonderful friends is absolutely breathtaking.
Thank You Dogster and Molly for allowing me to live this and for reminding me once more time what a loving family we have here…

I don’t know if it was Santa, but it sure felt like Santa

Like Lucy said he didn’t have a long white beard and red suit , but he spread love and gifts to all of us. We had a wonderful weekend full of treats and I had so many cuddles and a snuggle buddy for 5 days.
Orhpeas’must have missed his dad but all of us gave him all our love and our outmost special kisses.
Antonis had bags full of treats , duck food (oh, boy that is so delicious!), marrow bones, pig ears, a special rhinestone collar with matching lead for me too plus doggie breath mints (Was he trying to tell me my breath stinks? I hope he didn’t!:-D).
Why did he have to leave? I never understood why humans come and go, I think Lucy and I have to teach them to “stay” that’s a wonderful and very useful command.

Well, my friends I need to go and take a nap now and dream of our special Santa

HAPPY BIRTHDAY lUCY

Today is Lucy's birthday, mom and I prepare a a birthday party for her .Sssshhhhh she has no idea!!It's going to be a surprise. I helped mom make the human and doggie cake, I helped her with the ballons too. I was in charge of taste and ellegance the ones I didn't like I just had to destroy. It was so fun!!Now we have very few ballons but we do not need more Mom, don't be sad a party's decoration must be minimal...What do you think Lucy will do when she sees those ballons--Yeah, you got it right she is gonna destroy them all!

Anyway, the party will be around 7 o' clock this afternoon and I can't wait...That cake was SO DELICIOUS- liver and chicken and cottage cheese..YUMMY YUUUMMYYYYYY!!!

Of my heart when it rains hard and the “sky” flashes- with thunders,

I can’t help it and cry and I hide under the covers. I wish I could tell you why, but my heart frozes and my brain gets stiff and so are my legs. They all tell me that the storm can’t hurt me but I can’t hear them…A hug is my shelter until the sun rises up again. I am so very lucky to have my family.
