Hey y'all! I learned somethin' new yesterday. I learned how to jump on the couch in the den! So now, when me and Lulu are playin' and runnin' the Basset 500, I run real fast and up I go! It makes Lu so mad! She can't jump up there and she'll bark and whine and jump at me. I just sit up on the couch and laugh at her! MWAHAHAHA
Momma, Daddy and the two legger have FINALLY come home. They had gone to Texas for a week cause the other two legger was graduatin'. Me and sis and Corky had to go stay with Auntie Karen and Uncle Harold while they were gone. It was fun. They have a big backyard with a fence that goes all the way around. So we got to run and run and run some more without our leashes. Have I ever told ya that I LOVE to run? Well I do! I would run all day if I could. We also got to play with our 4 legger cousins Krystal and Nikki. Nikki was fun, she's a lil Beagle pup. She likes to play as much as me and Lu. The only problem was that Nikki is deaf and she can't hear you when you tell her that she is bitin' too hard. But, it was ok. Me and Lu didn't get mad her for that or nothin'. We're bigger than her so we'd just flip her over on her back.
Well, I gotta run, I think Lu is asleep and I wanna play so I gotta jump on her head and wake her up. BOL
I'm sure that by now Lulu and Corky have told y'all that I'm useless in an emergency but, I'M NOT! See, Lulu jumped in that lake thing that Momma always tells us to stay out of. And it turns out that thing is filled with WATER! Us Bassets aren't good with water. Chase some rabbits? SURE THING! But, I ain't never seen a rabbit go in the water so what's a Basset need with swimmin' lessons? So Lulu's out there yelpin' for help and floppin' around. And I was gonna try to help her out but, first I had to make sure that efurryone was lookin'. So I used my beeeeoootiful voice and I told efurryone, several times. And then I was gonna jump in and help my sis but, the Momma and the two legger got there first! So there! I'm not a bad sis! I just wanted to make sure I had backup first!
