when we don't share our food, that mom doesn't live at home anymore, being ignored, not being able to eat griffie's food, when we stop her from eating poop, thunder, loud noises, going to the vet, when griffin attacks, the dreaded vacuum cleaner...

poop! anything she can get her paws on. she's a machine.
Favorite Walk:
she doesn't do much walking anymore, but she used to like the beach in her younger days.
Best Tricks:
"the wolf," where she lies on her back, writhes around, and opens her mouth in a cackling grin -- she looks just like a wolf!
Arrival Story:
my first dog, abby, died of jaundice when i was 11. i desperately wanted another dog, and a friend had bred lab puppies. nikki was the quietest, calmest one, and i fell in love immediately. the calmess didn't last long. ;)
Bio:
nikki's an amazing dog, and will be sorely missed by our family when she passes on. she is incredibly loving (although for the first 4 years or so my mom called her "the dog from hell." she's mellowed out in her old age, but still has that penchant for paper and poop! if she spies a piece of food that's been accidentally dropped on the floor, you'd never know she was an old lady by how fast she moves! she and my dad are best friends, and keep each other company. it's very cute!
** Nikki passed away on June 4, 2005. She died peacefully with her daddy next to her. She was a wonderful dog and will be sorely and deeply missed by our family. She had 13 1/2 happy years with us, and we're comforted to know she's now romping joyfully with her cousin Nellie.
