Stairway to HEAVEN!

Okay, so as most of yous know...me is a hefty boy...kind of portly. So when mom and dad got a new bed, me was concerned. Their new bed is way high off the ground, and me has these short little legs...and...well...me is no spring chicken, and me no can jump as high as me used to. So...mom bought the "doggy steps" from the "as seen on tv" thingy. They were okay, but not high enough for the bed. So mom went to a pet store and bought another set that had 4 steps, but they were a little flimsy, and me was afraid of them. Now, me secretly likes when mom picks me up and puts me on the bed, but me has to maintain my tough guy exterior and so me has to growl an sputter at her. Getting of the bed was also a problem. Me jumps off and BOOM...me lands on the floor. Mom got worried that me was going to hurt my shoulders by jumping off the bed, and so me heard her telling dad something about new steps. Me was like "mom, me is too fat for store-bought dog stairs"...so, mom made dad make me my very own set of stairs! They is very wide and deep, just like human stairs. Mom even made dad carpet them so me would not slide off! They is sturdy enough that mom and dad can walk up and down them too. Me is so excited about my new stairs! Me loves my hefty-boy-steps!

Me is so sad to hear that Nellie is in so much pain. Me wish there was a cure for her bone cancer. Mommy is a pharmacist and she sees many human patients with cancer and they are in so much pain...and they say that bone pain is the WORST. Me wish there was something me could do for Nellie to help ease her pain. Mommy says that she wouldn't know what to do if something like that happened to me. Just reading about Nellie makes her cry, and Nellie isn't even her dog. Mom hates to see any of us furs in pain. Me is just so sad for Nellie and her family.

The Dogster Dog

Me just want to say how happy me is that The Dogster Dog is my pal. At first me thought that Dogster Dog no like me. Me didn't realize how busy Dogster Dog was when he was passing out the blue stars, me was sad because me did not get one yet. But within hours, me had a blue star too. So, me was happy. Then me read a group mail that was from a pup who sent a pup pal request to Dogster Dog and Dogster Dog accepted it. So me get to thinking that me would like to be pals with Dogster Dog too. So me whip up a PPR and send it off to Dogster Dog. Me wait and wait...no response. So me think, "Kilo, you need to send him another one...maybe it got lost in the mail." So...me send another one...still no response. Hmmmm...now me thinks Dogster Dog no like me again. Now, me is a tough guy, but me is a little sensitive...and me start to cry a little. Me not know why Dogster Dog no like me. BUT THEN...Dogster Dog accepts my pup pal request and me is SO VERY HAPPY! He must be a very busy guy, you know. But...I heart Dogster Dog!
