Likes: Playing with sticks and going to the lake with my sister Harley

Pet-Peeves: Stupid pet owners who leave their dogs tied to a box when they move!

Favorite Toy: Sticks!

Favorite Food: Dried liver treats

Favorite Walk: Around the neighborhood. I love to socialize.

Best Tricks: I know "sit" , "shake", "speak" and my newest trick is "hug". See my diary.

Arrival Story: Glacier was left tied to a dog box in West Virginia when his family moved away. NICE! The great folks at the Humane Society in Parkersburg, WV took him in. That is where I spotted him and now he is in foster care with me, his foster Mom, up in NJ with Rogers' Rescues looking for the perfect forever family who will treat him like gold, instead of yesterday's trash like his previous owners.

Bio: Glacier has done great in foster care. He's housebroken, great with the other dogs (LOVES to play!) and good with the cats too. He's been great with strangers in the house and is just a big 'ol hunk of love. And big he is, and just so majestic and is by far, one of the most beautiful dogs I've ever seen.
GOOD NEWS: GLACIER IS ADOPTED!

Well its only been a week or so with my new family and I feel like I"ve been here forever. This is just the place I was meant to be. My new sister Harley is awesome. She doesn't always like other dogs but she really thinks I'm a great little brother and we just get along perfectly. We both were rescued so we have a special bond together. I also have some little dog friends in my new house. They yap alot but I think they are alright in my book and I don't bother them much anymore. Check out my family picture in the back of the car!! We all went down to the lake this past weekend and had a ball. I even met my new 2 legged brother who flew all the way in from Colorado to meet me. I just love my new family and here's what they recently had to say about me: "We absolutely adore him, he’s about the most perfect personality, problem free, well adjusted 4 legged kid we’ve ever had!" Hey, now I'm glad my last family left me behind because I feel like I've hit the jackpot!
There are tons of dogs like me in shelters waiting for a wonderful home. I was one of the lucky ones. Please consider a homeless dog like me for your next companion. You won't be sorry. My family sure isn't.

Today I went home to my new forever family. I have a fabulous new dog experienced Mom and Dad and a hottie of a girlfriend who is a beautiful long haired German Shepherd. I love my new digs. There is a fenced yard for me and my new girl to play and even a pool! I couldn't be happier and I have a feeling that this family will NEVER EVER leave me behind. I'm off to find my girl 'cause I want to play! Thanks Rogers' Rescues for helping me find this great family and turning my life around. And thanks to my new Mom and Dad for finding more room in their hearts and home for a guy like me. WOOF!!

I am FINALLY clean! YAHOO! I went to the groomers on Friday and was there for quite a long time. A huge bark-out to Kristin at PAWS etc. in Pompton Lakes, NJ for taking the time to groom me and make me so handsome. They had to wash me 4 times I was so dirty. I probably never had a bath before, but I was good in the tub, for drying and for getting brushed out. White fur was floating everywhere! I feel sooooo much better. My skin was flaky and scabby in spots from not being able to breathe since no one ever bothered to groom me properly, but now I feel and look awesome. My foster Mom walked me all around the neighborhood today to show me off. The compliments were flying ... My foster Mom promises to take some new pics soon so you all can see the new and improved "clean" me.
