Arrival Story:
Sadie was a Christmas gift from my husband in 1999. We had been thinking of adding another dog to the family for awhile, as our other Lab was getting older and we thought a companion would be good to help keep her active.
Bio:
Sadie was the product of a BYB; purchased for me by my husband who didn't know any better at the time. She was the last remaining pup from a litter of 6, and wasn't very well socialized. She had been living in an outdoor kennel with her mother for several weeks when we got her. She was a terrible annoyance to our older dog who was nine at the time, but Dixie soon had Sadie on track--she taught her a lot, and helped with the housebreaking. Due to her lack of early socialization, Sadie has always been a little shy, but is very friendly once she knows you. She is very attached to our other animals, and is always cuddling with one of them.
