not really a trick and i need to break him of the habit- hes a counter surfer for food- and hes good at it! He also will drop food hes not supposed to have if you tell him "drop it"
Arrival Story:
i had been wanting a dog for awhile, i grew up with them and my kids love animals. then my neighbor got a dog and brough him over- my daughter kept asking my neighbor if she could keep him lol it was really cute but i knew i had to get serious about looking for a dog.
i had honestly never heard of petfinder.com before but i went to my local humane socities website and viewed there available dogs-which brought me to petfinder. i didnt relize there was so many shelters in this area!
well, i started looking and ran across a chocolate lab, i called k9 kindness and inquired then i filled out the application and was so nervous because i really wanted this dog but after inquiring about her i ran across a black lab mix name beau but had already inquired about the choco lab so just kept silent- and she came to visit us. after talking to debbie of k9kindess- i relized this dog wouldnt be right for my family and told her i was also looking at beau- and we both relized beau would be a great match for us!
i was so excited when she said we could have him. he came the next day and walked around like he already owned the place! he is the sweetest dog with the saddest story. hes now in a home full of love-almost to much as my kids wont leave him alone they keep petting him and cuddling with him and i do to.
when im online doing work he will sit under my desk like he is now and when i say his name his tail just wags like there is no tomorrow. my kids and i are thrilled with him and he loves us to. hes a wonderful addition to our family.

Hi Everyone~
Sorry its been so long since I last updated - things have been really busy for mom.
The darn foster dog is now gone - YAY! but then mom brought another in - a cute little pomeranian which just makes me sick with MY family fawn over it, and him giving kisses all the time on their faces, but he didnt last long because he escaped from moms fence - so he had to go to another foster home hehe and now my family is mine once again!
Also, since I last wrote, my sister daphne is now fully blind and almost deaf which really makes me and the family sad - but she is still living life to the fullest like i do by sleeping all day! Gotta love that sleep....
Lets see, what else...
Mom and the kids got me a new bone for valentines day - i love being the man of the house and life is good!

Ok a few days ago mom brought in a new dog, she works with a local rescue and we get in dogs frequently, well this new one's name is Noel and she thinks she is just miss high and mighty!
She has *gasp* taken over my spot on moms bed at night, and ALL during the day to - the during the day part i dont mind, im with mom while she is on the computer, but she stole my spot on the bed - the nerve! She just lays on the bed all day acting like a queen. Whenever she hears MY mom come upstairs she runs and greets her, wagging her tail and mom thinks its so cuuute -
I get along with her just fine, but I am a little ticked at her "cutesey" antics she uses. Her NEW thing that mom thinks is so cute is sleeping with the kids but hey at least I get moms bed back.

Well This past month mom has been trying to put me on a diet, I mean come on how am I supposed to live on 1 1/2 cups of food per day? thats what that darn vet said she should do - i think im still looking good at 95 lbs.. sigh...
But little does she know when she feeds my sister and shes done I sneak her food bowl into moms closet and eat the rest haha, THEN just today, she fed the blasted cat moist food, and when she walked away i took that can in my mouth oh yes I did and licked it clean, but mom busted me with that.. sigh again..
Oh well there is always tonight again with sis's food... I say No to diets!
