Arrival Story: The gate to the backyard was left open one day as I worked in the garden. I turned around to find this skinny, dirty, scruffy dog. I couldn't even tell what breed he was. I gave him some water and food. After cleaning him up some we put up posters, checked with the local vets, pet stores and humane society and no one claimed him. After taking him to the vet we learned just how how poor his condition was. He had infections, impacted teeth and required a surgical removal of an infected foxtail in his ear. He was weak, under nurioushed and flithy.
When I took him to the vet I had to give them a name, the only thing I could think of was Fluffy. He's been our Fluffy for over four years now. Two years ago we added a little sister for him, Molly.
Fluffy is now happy, heathy, active and the yard he wandered into is now his.

Bio: Fluffy developed pneumonia suddenly. His vet believes as a result of lung cancer. While being treated he was such a little tough guy we thought he would be coming back home with us. On the morning of October 6, 2009 while in an oxygen chamber he stood up, barked and then laid down and left us. We miss him terribly every day as does his little sister, Molly.
Fluffy was the biggest little dog we've ever known. He had a 50 pound bark but was the most gentle dog. He was proud and would strut after being groomed. He loved his little sister, Molly. They were like one dog together.
