I'm Going to Make The Most of My Second Chance

I broke another stuffy

Last night we went to Petco and I picked out two toys. A large pheasant and a big purple octopus that floats. When we got home mom took all the tags off and made me SIT to get my pheasant. I grabbed it and took it to the pool. I drowned the bird just like I drowned my bunny. Then I tore his legs off and started yanking the soppy wet stuffing out. I was really nice and brought piles of the drippy wet stuffing into the house and left them all around. The water soaked into the carpet. It was cool! I even left mom some on her favorite spot on the couch. =)

Mom wants to know why I insist on drowning things before I play with them. She says it "worries" her. hmmmm

Mom says the phone company guy is coming tomorrow to install a fax line in the office so she has to stay home and scrapbook. That's what she thinks. She is going to play with ME!!!

WooHooHoo PETCO!!

OMD!! I got to go for another ride today. I went to the best place ever!! There are TOYS there and treats, even other dogs. I got to take home a phesant and an octopus that floats!! I know it floats, it's been in the pool already!

Mom took me to Petco to talk to the puppy class trainer to see if I was a good candidate yet or not. Mom needs to work with me some more still but the trainer thinks by the 28th class date that I could come and see.

She also bought me a no bark collar. I don't know what that is, but I think it is bad. Mommy tries to make me stop barking but I just bark and bark sometimes. The trainer thinks it is because I lived in a very full dog pound for 4 months and that barking is my only way to get attention. He is going to help me become a lady but the no bark collar will be for home. Mommy says I am already a lot better than I was on Friday and Saturday.

I hope this thing doesn't bite like that hotwire fence around the yard!!! WOW.
I hope I get some more new toys!!

Easter

This is my first Easter! I have a basket with dyed eggs and a stuffed bunny. All of us do. Wow. I don't know what this Easter thing is, but it will be yummy.

Mom, I think I can call the lady mom, peeled my first egg and handed it to me. I just stood there with it in my mouth. I didn't know what to do. She peeled the other's eggs and I watched as they ate them. I started to chew. YUM! This egg is great! I ate all of mine and still wanted more.

Then she handed me my very own pink stuffed bunny. I grabbed him and ran outside. I threw him in the pool and jumped in. No one else came with me. It was 33 degress outside and they thought I was nuts. I stood on my bunny with both front feet and made sure he was held down tight on the bottom. I lifted one foot and the bunny started to come up so I quickly put my foot back on him. I continued to do this until the bunny stayed on the bottom. Then I picked him up and threw him on the deck. I was done with that one. I ran in to get the white bunny and mom took it away. I tried to get the yellow bunny and Cade grabbed it. All I got away with was it's arm which I immediately took and drown just like my pink bunny.

I decided to sleep on the floor. The bed is nice but the blanket on the floor is really soft and big and I can dig around and make a nest.

Mom says she has to go to work tomorrow. Whatever that means.
