You left our world today,
I missed you already,
I miss you still,
I'll miss you always,
You old white buzzard,
You bit me upon first meeting,
Yet the more we were together,
The more you grew on me,
Your face reminded me of Harvey,
The deviant batman villan,
Your breath smelt like garbage,
But I loved you still,
Your teeth were snaggled,
Dingy and yellow,
Never were you mellow,
Such a delightful fellow
You were the first,
You were the eldest,
You were the Gadget,
You were our Wizard,
You were,
Our Gizmo.
Rest in peace dear old friend,
We had a long run,
its your new beginning.
Spread your wings,
Fly so high,
Wait for me there,
At the Rainbow Bridge.

My Cranky, loving old Italian Greyhound, Sixteen years he lived.
