Rottie Days
Looooong overdue entryFebruary 18th 2010 8:46 pm[ Leave A Comment | 8 people already have ] I'm a big brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As you have probably already heard?! Although I don't really see much of her.... I mostly HEAR her, she has a much louder "bark" than me, that's for sure. And when she goes off the whole household is up, and at her beck and call! She gets lots of attention, 24/7 attention, they can't just stick her outside in the back yard for a few hours while they go out, they actually take her everywhere.....why can't I go everywhere too ? I am however enjoying the walks in the park with the 4 wheeled mini car, I can't jump inside this one, but my little sis seems to enjoy being in it, they call it a stroller, I suppose we do a lot of "strolling" with it. The weather has been great so now every time I see the mini car I get all excited that we are going on a walk, almost more excited than when I see my leash!!!!! As time goes by I am sure I will be spending more time with the new addition, but for now all I get from her is her barking, LOL

It won't be long till baby sis will be big enough to play with you! Meantime, you be a good big bubba and guard her from any boogie men. Remember that you are loved just as much as always and when little sis gets big enough, you will be loved all that much more! Responsibilities come with the big brother gig. Cleaning up under her high chair. Fetching all the toys she throws out of her crib. Being tolerant when she takes your toys. Acting as her pillow when she's tired. Helping her balance when she's learning to walk. Cleaning her face when it's smeared with peanut butter. And much, much more! Congrats Dino to you and your family! Im sure you will be a terrific big brother! Don't worry to much about her barking, she will soon grow and love to play with you. Just remember that a new sister means one more person for you to love and one more to love you! Best wishes! So happy for you and the family.....Have a wonderful time with one more family member to love you...:) WOOF Hi, big boy! I'm "fixed" but you sure are a devilish-looking dudedog. I hope your new slave-in-training is a quick study and soon makes you forget you got bumped from the center of attention. My best buddy, aside from my revered elder brother Shadow, is Tigger the orange cat. We've been tight since I was smaller than he is. Now we play all the time. I love to drag him off the table by his tail. The two people who serve us laugh a lot. Hey, Dino. I just got a baby sister also. But she's 1 year old, a beautiful domestic gray longhair. She does hiss and growl at me when I want to kiss her but other than that, she doesn't make much noise. When your little sister stops making a lot of noise, she'll start traveling around, stumbling on her hind legs. Be very careful she doesn't get her front paws on your whiskers or you ears. Ouch! Hey Dude, how is it going? Is the lil' sis a pain yet? I have to tell ya kids MAy suck but most of the time they are GREAT.Watch out for that lil person, ya? As lil' as she is they get in trouble a lot and would be lost with us for leggers. I got an update for ya also, I am back working in the Hospital as a Therapy dog, though they have no big Peds Ward, because Riley is just down the road. But it doesn;t matter I still love my job and I am proud to be a Therapy Dog, just like you are the proud Nanny now :) |
