Birthday: August 24th 2004 Likes: his mommy,going for walks,playing with Jackson,cuddling Pet-Peeves: his tail touched,his legs touched,and his nails clipped,baths Favorite Toy: He's not really a chewer Favorite Food: liver treats I think Favorite Walk: around the house,down the street Best Tricks: sit,lay down, turn, shake, roll over, beg Arrival Story: I was sitting in my bedroom watching tv and my dad called me and said "Emily,there's a nice little dog out here in the yard."So I got my leash and choke chain(just in case.)I called him over to me and he came right over and sat down by me and let me pet him.He had a collar on with a tag on that dated back to 2005.So,it started with "I'll put posters up saying "found dog" please call to describe 260-****"Well, a week went by...then two.No calls.Any way I was getting really attached to him.So I called the animal clinic and told them the i.d number on his tag and they said that they would call me back when they got a hold of the owner.So,she called me back and told us that the owners had moved and basically abandoned him.So,I am strictly against animal shelters due to euthanasia and junk so I'm like,well,can we keep him.And My parents were extremely hesitant.My mom because she's not a dog person and I was lucky to have had my dachshund,and my dad because of my mom.Well,it turns out that Snoopy is such a good dog,he even won over my mom's....love?No.Tolerance?Yes.YAY !But then I was looking for a show dog all at the same time,but that's another story..... Grandpa just doesn't seem to like me that much!
I used to be banned from the house only at night, and then I would go out in my pen...then, I was banned to mom's room all the time...NOW, I goofed up by peeing on mom's BRAND NEW bedroom floor, and grandpa has banned me from the house!! =[ so now I spend all day either in the pen or outback. Mom does not like this at all...she's one of these people that HAS to have her dogs inside with her...I hope she can convince him into letting me come into the house if I'm supervised. UGH...
Why was I banned to begin with you ask? Granda has always said "I'm a filthy or dirty dog..." which I guess is true sometimes because I roll in the dirt out back...but mom bathes me regularly.
Another reason he hasn't taken much of a shine to me is because "he's not my dog" he says...mom found me roaming around...they got Jackson from a breeder and Shortdog from some lady...so Grandpa feels they're more family I guess...and I'm just here. Mom is different, however...she loves all of us equally, but in different ways.
Also, I snapped at grandpa one time...it was early in the morning and he came in mom's room to get me outside and when I wouldn't come, he came to pick me up, and I guess I felt threatened or protective of mom, and I snapped at him...yeah that didn't help at all...
Well, mom took me to the vet on Saturday, June 14,2008.I did beautifully and everything looked good.My weight was just right(26 lbs) and my temperature was average (101.8) The vet called my "the picture of health"
