well, when they put me in the cage thing, there is this black rubber thing that has yummy stuff inside. that's pretty nice.

i have only ever had my doggie foods and a couple cookies here and there.

well, i wish "look cute" was a trick, because i do that very well. i am learning "sit." i have also learned to "wait" in the doorway until mom or dad tells me to come in.
Arrival Story:
We picked him up on a Friday afternoon after meeting his new doggie housemates. We called him Polo (the name from the shelter), but it didn't seem to fit. We wanted to call him something that fit...his canine-ality, his ears, etc. So, we came up with Roo (the son of "Kanga" on Winnie the Pooh). Roo does have ears that resemble a kangaroo. Roo, from Pooh, is also a curious little guy who is very brave and sweet which also fits Roo's temperament. And the thing that sealed the deal: the second night we put him in his crate, we heard the initial whining, then he belted out "aRooOoOOoOoo" 2 or three times. So that's why we call him Roo.
Bio:
Roo is now at a WONDERFUL home with a doggie big sister and two big brother kitties.

Hi! I'm Roo. I love my brother Rocky and my sister Anabelle. They are so nice to let me play with them. Sometimes when I play too rough, they tell me, and I stop. I like those 2 other things in our house that kind of look like small dogs, but mom doesn't let me play with them. She says this isn't my permanent home. That makes me a little sad. I really like it here. But, I'd be glad to go to another home with a doggie. Oooh ooh! And, it would be really neat if there was one of those little people there, too. I've met some of those. They sort of look like my mom and dad, but they're smaller, and they giggle when I give them kisses. They give very soft pets. I think mom calls them "kids"? Anyway, they are really cool, too. I love them, but there aren't any in this house here. So, if you know a house that has a doggie who like to play and a "kid" who wants a fun pup - talk to my mom!! I'd be really interested to meet you.
