Arrival Story:
My new mom and dad had been thinking about getting a liver dalmation for awhile. Dad used to have one named Lizzie that unfortunately died a few years ago at the age of 12 due to complications with diabetes. Dad used to say that he'd never again have another dal, b/c he didn't want to replace Lizzie, but then realized that he loved the breed and wanted another one after all....not to replace Lizzie, but to honor her. Mom and dad searched for months without any luck and were actually leaning more towards rescuing an older dal when they just happened to run across a breeder with available pups. When dad called and asked if any of the pups happened to be liver, the breeder told him that that was all that she had left...the two black and whites had gone first and all that was left was me and my two brothers. They jumped in the car and drove the two hours to see me. They liked me right away. I was smaller and more laid back that my big, super rambunctious brother (he was really cute too, by the way). I wasn't too sure about them at first, b/c I was really attached to my doggie mom, but now that I'm home with them, I really love it!!!! I make them laugh and give them kisses like crazy. All my new brothers and sisters are nice to me too, even the cat. Dudley is the most fun to play with b/c he runs from me and we play chase. I love to play, but I also like to be close to mom and dad and am already picking up on their commands. I hear them say how smart I am all the time.

Bio:
Teagan (pronounced "Tee - Gan") is an Irish name meaning beautiful. The name suits me perfectly b/c I am definitely beautiful with my liver spots and amber eyes. :-)
