Emma

I am very sad today. I lost my best pal in the whole world, Emma. She was old, I know, but it's still so hard. Her and I had so much fun at the cottage...because of her age, she didn't have as much energy as me, but when I showed up, somehow she always had a burst of energy. I loved how her mom had her trained to grab her soccer ball and shake it when she wanted to bark, instead of actually barking. If only I could learn that trick! She loved to sing when she was happy, especially when people came over. She was also a great therapy dog when she was younger, working in seniors homes and showing people how happy they could be. It is sure going to be lonely when I go up to the cottage, but I will always carry her with me in my heart.

I'll go for a swim for you, Emma.
