Arrival Story:
We adopted Bizzy from Pets Unlimited in San Francisco. He'd been brought in from the shelter in Merced, California where he'd been saddled with the unfortunate name, Malachi. We were smitten with the little guy immediately even though we'd originally planned on getting a medium-sized dog. Competition was fierce for Biz --there were nine other couples who wanted him-- so we intitiated a full-on marketing campaign. We wrote letters. Sent pictures. Had friends call in. I'm sure the adoption councilors were very glad when it was over. In the end we got him and, with all due respect to the minor prophets decided to rename him something more in tune with his personality.

Bio:
Biz's dad is a San Francisco Pet Photographer who takes Biz pretty much everywhere he goes. You may see them in San Francisco Bay Area Dog parks like Stern Grove, Walter Haas, Fort Funston, and Golden Gate Park. Biz will be the one with the ball or frisbee. Mark will be the one with camera.
