Arrival Story:
I found OE at the Culver City SPCA. She was about 5 months old and had been turned in by her first family because she was too difficult. OE let me know she wanted me to adopt her and promised to be good.

Bio:
When asked her secret to a long, happy life she said, "Dry dog food, no people food - ever, and a walk a day" As OE got older she had arthritis, but she didn't let it get her down. She attributed her arthritis to maybe over-using her amazing ability to run and jump when she was young. OE was known to hop a six-foot fence without a running start. She could even hop and climb an eight-foot fence when needed. When she lived in Culver City, OE would hop the fence in the morning, run around the neighborhood all day, and then hop back into her yard just before dinner time. OE hated water... and especially bathes. But she loved walks and visiting her friends Mr. Killian and Duncan Dog. You can see a picture of OE and Killian together taken about 2 years ago. There are also photos of OE when she was a young dog with her first friend Bailey. Bailey died 4 years ago. OE lived a long and happy life to the age of 15. There is no such thing as arthritis where OE is now and she is having more fun than ever. She is missed very much.
