Family day at the park

Today Dude, my fiance and I all went for a walk in the park. It was a little practice for our 2.5K Humane Society Waggin Trails walk that's coming up on May 19th. He did pretty good although he seems to think that everyone around has an obligation to pet him. We ended up carrying him back to the car because he pooped out abot 3/4 of the way through. Guess we need to start walking a little bit more, although it was pretty hot out today. After that he came home and was pretty much puddin' the rest of the night.

I think he's growing at an exponential rate. I can't wait to see how big he's going to really get. My fiance thinks he's a monster already.

Everybody that lives in our condo community seems to love Dude. I think they get a kick because I named him after the movie the Big Lebowski.

He's the Dude, man.

So yesterday Dude ended up at an emergency animal clinic in our area due to kennel cough. I'm a little miffed at the humane society for not answering my calls and getting back to me late. I guess the best thing I can do is go in sometime this week and ask to be reimbursed, seeing as how I was guaranteed a free vet visit in the first 7 days if Dude was sick.

He discovered robins today, apparently he enjoys chasing them. He's going for his first visit to my moms house today while I'm at work. I think she'll love him, he's such a good boy! He tries to eat my panty hose every time I put them on.....he's a weirdo.
