Arrival Story:
Lady's story is awesome. She was a rescued dog at Humane Society. She was adopted by an elderly gentleman at the age of two. There she stayed for two glorious years filled with lots of love. Sad for Lady, her owner died. At that time I mentioned to a friend that I would like a adult golden and asked her to keep her ears and eyes open. The next day she calls me with information about Lady and her soon need for a new home. Lady saw her owners death to the end, never leaving his side. I picked her up two weeks after his passing away. Frightened an anxious she hopped into my car for a new journey. She went from being with a senior 24-7 to being with a career woman 24-7. Adaptable is a good word for Lady. Adapt she did. The best light in my life! After being with me a couple of years she had yet to adapt to another change, a move into a new home and shortly after the introduction to a pup retriever, Willow. Adapt she did and with much grace! Lady far exceeds any expectations I may have had of her. Everyday is an amazement. Anything I through her way she rises too, motivated and eager.

I can go on and on about this gal but I said the most important. Oh, she is totally loved, lovable and loving by anyone that comes on her path, young, old, disabled...she shines!
