Woof what a day!!! i went to my normal puppy training class today but it was at a different spot.. and DOGS... there were dogzillions of them!! i now am getting quite good at Heel, sit, stand, and today we learnt drop(which mum had already taught me so i did well) i am going well!! BUT ANYWAY... back to DOGS EVERYWHERE! there was a massive dog event on today called The Million Paws Walk , to raise money for the RSPCA.i went on the biggest walk ever with the most dogs ever!! it was FABBO!! i met a great big ridgeback cross boxer, and a nice old ridgeback.. but she was the smaller sort as i was as tall as her already !! hehe! i am having a balll with all these dogs! there were all shapes and sizes dogs!!

Mum found a dog park down the road where lots of dogs go and its an off lead area!! it is fabulous my best friend Max the corgi x goes there i love him !!!! but i got bullied by a young boxer yesterday and i screamed so loud i felt so embarrassed.. everyone must think i'm such a sook.. but i get so frightened! mum keeps telling me its ok one day i'll be bigger than them all then they might think twice before picking on me!! i

photos of the dog park and million paws walk are above :)

Checking out a Dog show...

well on Sunday mum put me in the car and we drove for ages. it was all rainy outside so i was happy to be nice and cosy in the car :) when she stopped we were at a place(westbury) full of dogs and people... but it was heaps different to my puppy school and wow some of those dogs were handsome! we were just there checking out the show scene so mum could see if she would like to show me or not. it was a little different than she expected and she wasn't sure how she'd go with me in the ring as we would both be very new and probably go the wrong way etc..
so after a look and some info from one of the people there mum took me home and she rang Wayne from Sydney (Hodai Rafiki ridgebacks) he talked to her for about an hour giving some tiups on how to go well and what mistakes poeople make etc. mum came out and tried to get me to stand like a show dog...pfft not happening!! maybe if she persists i might give in hehe!! but we walked and ran around the yard on my lead thing i am getting good at that i think cos i don't get pulled on as much... i think if i stay next to mum its what i'm meant to do but sometimes i just want to go ahead of her.. she doesn't like that.

Well looks like i am in training for a dog show!! there is one coming up in campbell town and one in launceston soon... if mum feels brave enough and if i am learning the right way we might go in one... i think mum is scared.. i dunno why cos she has me and i am A champion!! (at least outta the show ring hehehee) woof woof!

Today was very scary but fun! mum put me in the back of dads car and took me to a place not far down the road. when i got there i saw dogs and people EVERYWHERE... it was very frightening! A lady walked toward us talking to mum i got scared and tried to run away but that silly rope thing round my neck stopped me going too far. the lady went away a bit then mum took me over to her.. i liked that better she was very nice and gave me a pat :)
It turned out that i was at PUPPY SCHOOL and they were only expecting maybe one or 2 pups, that soon changed! we all walked over to a little boxed in area in the corner with our parents we walked in and the gate was closed behind us! it was very exciting but there were so many people and dogs i didn't know what to do!! i was a little bit scared... (but don't tell anyone.) after the leader Sally anne finshed talking we all got let off our leads to meet each other. there were some bouncy labradors a german shepherd a boxer a couple of border collies a few cross breed staffys and one teeny tiny maltese cavalier cross. wow!! all up i think there were at least ten 12 week old pups in that little pen! it got quite rowdy... I kept to the edges just taking it all in! i haven't really had much to do with other dogs for a while so i wasn't sure how to act. after a while i got playing with Henry the Lab, boy was he Rough! then i moved on to the boxer.. she was much calmer. our lesson today just consisted of meeting other pups so it was fun. i can't wait to go next time!!

i also had my first bath today now i smell great and i loved it!!
