One Year Later...

Well today is the one year anniversary of me coming to live with my new family. I was so nervous and reserved that day that Mom and Dad can hardly believe that I was the same dog! Now I'm mouthy, talkative, pushy, in-our-face loveable. :) And the best darn cuddler on this side of the Mississippi!

Coming to live with my new mom and dad and my new brother was the best day. I get spoiled rotten, I'm fed food that doesn't upset my tummy, I don't get ear infections anymore, I'm always groomed and I get loved on. What more can a dog ask for?

Well, Benny, Boo and I have, collectively, been tagged by 13 pups! They are:

Easter

Well, yesterday, Easter, was only my third day with my new family. I was going to meet both sets of grandparents, my uncle Steve, family friends and my new little cousin, Braeden, who is 3. I was rehomed because I got scared of children and was growly at them, but my new Mom and Dad knew that I could be retrained.

They explained to Braeden that I was special because I'd been so scared, so he was very gentle with me and we got along perfectly! I like this little boy - he fed me and petted me and was not scary at all!

My new grandma was so impressed with me. She couldn't believe how well trained I was and how ok I was with meeting all these new people and dogs. She says that I stole her heart. I have that way about me, I guess.

Well, I'll keep you updated as my NEW and IMPROVED life continues!
