a day in the life of dirt magirt

enemies!

summer is pretty much here. it doesn't feel like we have had much of a spring here though. of course my enemies moved back in. by enemies, i mean baby bunnies. they live in the bushes outside our windows. i really think they are just there to torment me. i sit by the windows and i swear they are just mocking me. laughing because i can't come out to chase them. grrrr!

in other news, we went to beaglefest again this year. i was disappointed because we didn't get to stay very long at all since moby was being a brat for no reason. now if i'm behaving, that says something right there so i say he has no excuse for being so rude to the other beagles. hmph i was having fun too.

i do hope this summer will be fun. i know there has been talk that we might get to go to the ozarks. how exciting! i have never been on such a long car ride. oh i really do hope we get to go. :) i shall keep my paws crossed.

lazy days

the summer months are full of so much activity. i've been spending most of my days looking out into the courtyard. there are always kids, dogs, and enemies out there. my enemies are rabbits in case you were wondering. about four of them were just born this past spring. my moms think they are cute but i really know that they are only here to provoke me. hmph.

i hope this heat goes away soon. i would rather have the windows open and get some fresh air.

anyway, looks like my mom and moby are going to bed soon so i have to go so i can join them. arrrooo!

oh the weather outside is frightful...

thanksgiving has come and gone. my grandma and grandpa came over and brought the turkey. i couldn't believe my nose when i smelled everything that was cooking. i didn't get to have any of it but i did get a lot of treats that auntie anna bought us when she was in florida. they were so yummy! i did manage to get a taste of the food when my mommies were loading the dishwasher. *hehe* i'm a sneaky one! ;)

so moby got a new reindeer toy. i guess it's not really just his but he likes it so much. i just like it b/c it makes him mad when i take it. he cracks me up with how cranky he gets. i love it!

it snowed here wednesday night. i like running around in the snow for a little bit but then it starts to hurt my paws. my mommies were thinking about getting me little boots but they know me well enough not to. i don't like anyone touching my feet so i will never allow them to put any boots on me. i'm one tough beagle. :)

well, it's time for me to go to bed. i need some snuggle time.
