to howl or not to howl

summer days

i can't believe how fast this year has gone by. the weather has been terribly warm which means that it's too hot for walks...even at night. mom has been really nice though because she takes me and polly for "mini" walks. i really enjoy that.

it hasn't rained in a long time either which isn't that great but anyday without thunder is a good day for me. i seriously cannot stand thunderstorms. one time i was out with my mom and there was thunder and lightning. out of nowhere the lightning hit one of the buildings near by and ever since, i can't stand storms. i think it annoys my moms sometimes but i can't help being a sensitive little man.

i guess that's about it for now. it's late and i need some sleep. i have to make sure i have plenty of energy when polly tries to harass me. *hehe*

let it snow

it's been a while since i've written an entry. i've been so busy playing with polly and sleeping all day.

i can't believe that thanksgiving has already come and gone. my grandma and grandpa came over for dinner. they brought the turkey while my mommies made all the rest. grandpa even gave me a little turkey although my mommies were mad. *moo ha ha*

i got a new toy from mommy's friend cody. it's a stuffed reindeer. i love it ever so much but polly likes to steal it from me. she better not destroy it!

auntie anna went to florida and brought me and polly back a bucket of homemade dog biscuits. they were sooo good. i overheard mommy saying that she might make us some homemade dog biscuits. i hope so but i know she's making so many christmas cookies as it is so i will be just as happy with the store bought kind. hey, a cookie is a cookie! ;)

it snowed here wednesday night. you'll notice the new pics of me in the snow. i love the snow and i love running around in it. of course it melted but it sure was fun while it lasted. i can't wait for more snow to come.

barkapalooza

i had such a great weekend! today was even more exciting because my mommies took polly and i to the barkapalooza. it's a walk held by the west suburban humane society. we had great fun and even got to hang out with hugo and mira. :)

i couldn't believe how many dogs were there. the dogs weren't the only thing i was interested in though. the event was by this huge pond that had ducks and geese. my mommies get so mad at me because i always look for the yummy treats that the ducks and geese leave behind. just because my mommies don't think it's yummy doesn't mean that i can't like it!

i did find lots of great smells so i got to roll around quite a bit. talk about a great time. *hehe*

i was pretty beat for the rest of the night as was polly. we just slept and relaxed. i had such a great weekend and i hate for it to end. my mommies go back to work tomorrow so i'll be lonely without them. at least i have polly to harass me which will get me through the day. :)
