Possible kleptomaniac..

Boy oh boy! My mommy caught me red handed today. She was getting ready for work and she put her watch on the bed, and guess what I did! I ran off with it and put it in my bedroom. It was funny watching my mommy search around for it. She thought maybe she hadn't left it there after all. She asked me if I took it and I looked at her wondering if she actually expected me to answer!
If only I hadn't gone back to my bedroom to savor my new find, I wouldn't of been caught! Not only did she catch me with her watch, but she also found my stash of goodies..oh no! She found my brothers little stuffed piggy (it was so soft, I just couldn't resist), a sock (I love socks), a GI Joe (my brother was wondering what happened to it), and a partially chewed up dollar bill (my sister thought my brother stole it..heehee). My mommy was beyond words..she just couldn't believe it! Boy do I have some explaining to do....

My first haircut

Oh boy...do I feel naked! I had my first haircut on Friday. I was such a good boy, but I came out without any hair. I could barely recgonize myself! My mommy didn't realize what a lil guy I am without all my hair covering me up. My ears were cut on the short side, but other than that, I think I look pretty cool. I'll have to post a new pic soon. I hope my pup pals recognize me!

Making some progress

Well, I'm slowly getting the hang of having to go potty outside. Yesterday I made my mommy so happy - I didn't have any accidents at all! But this morning was another story. My mommy let me out of my crate and took me outside. I went potty right away. I sniffed around a little then went to the door to go in...it was so COLD outside! My mommy was so proud of me. I love getting praises. She hopped in the shower and while she was in there, guess what I did? I left her a little surprise right next to my crate..heehee. My mommy didn't notice right away because she was busy getting ready for work. But of course the smell couldn't be hidden for long because she discovered it. I was escorted right outside again. I don't like going potty out in the cold and I'm sure she wouldn't want to either! But I love to get praises, so I'm gonna keep trying. I think I'll get the hang of this...eventually.

Adjusting

It's been two days since I've been adopted. My new family is amazing! I feel like a lil prince..they wait on me hand and foot, shower me with love, carry me around..what a life!
When I was adopted I left behind four brothers at the shelter. I'm getting along ok so far. It's quiet without them though. My mommy wishes she could of brought us all home, but that just wasn't possible. The day I left the shelter I needed my rabies vaccine. My new family wanted to protect me so they made an appointment the same day. They learned right away how expensive being a pet owner was gonna be, but they didn't mind at all! The man in the white coat said both of my lil ears were infected and I needed drops and they had to be flushed daily. Now this wasn't what I wanted to hear. I just got neutered yesterday! Gimme a break! To make it up to me my daddy took me to PetSmart and I got to get some new toys. I don't know what to do with them yet, but I also picked out some yummy treats. My daddy forgot to buy my crate, and what a mistake he made! I got to sleep in the bed! Yesterday we went to PetSmart to get my crate, and I like hanging out in it. But I wasn't going to sleep in it! I made a fuss until I got my way (haha..mommy caved). I got to sleep in bed again. I was in my crate today because my daddy made me a schedule. I am confused though because we go outside and it's cold! We stay out there and walk around, but I don't feel like going potty. But guess what I do..heehee (I'm such a lil devil) I poop inside! I guess I shouldn't do this because I get escorted right outside again..but it's so much warmer inside. My mommy and daddy definately have their hands full with me. But they love me so much. When I finally did my business outside this afternoon, it made them so happy. We'll see if I can make them happy again. Man, who knew having a family was going to be such hard work!?!
