A Wonderful Healer-Thank You

Mommy just wanted to tell you Annie how much I love you and am so thankful you came into my life and healed my broken heart after Brutus died unexpectedly that fateful day in March years ago. I was not fair to you at first. I was grieving so for Brutus. I told your daddy I was not getting another bulldog and he insisted. When you came I know I was so distant from you because I was grieving so for Brutus yet you continued to try and warm your way into my aching heart. I said I would never love another dog like Brutus and yet you proved me so wrong. I didn't like you at first, you were so different. Brutus was so sick and needed me with him all of the time. You were a lively healthy puppy who wanted to play until the wee hours of the morning. I was so irritated but you loved me anyways. It took me a year to really get attached to you but you were persistent in being my girl. I love you dearly and wouldn't take a million dollars for you. You are my everything and are always there to make me laugh and smile. You know just when I need affection or for you to be close to me. I just want to thank you for loving me even when I wasn't ready to give my heart to you. I love you dearly and thank you for helping to mend my broken heart. I don't know what I'll do when something happens to you, because there will never be another Annie. All my love precious girl, Mommy

Spring Break is almost over!

Mom is going back to work Monday. I'm so sad! I uploaded a pic of my goat friend Pepper on this page. She looks like she is saying cheese to the camera with a mouthful of hay. Also I have been playing around the pond today. There is a pic on this page showing me trying to find a fish in the pond. Mom fusses because she is afraid I will get too close. The weather is cold but that's just how I like it!

Spring Break!

Mom has been home all week because she is on Spring Break! I love it when Mom is home. I get to play outside more and visit the goats during the day. The only bad thing is that the weather is getting hotter and it is harder for me to stay outside. I'll be sad when the week is over because mom goes back to work.
