Arrival Story:
This breeder told me that she had heard of me from how I was with my last dog and that Zig reminded her of me so she "saved him till she could find me." Turns out she couldn't sell him and knew he had a host of medical problems and that I had taken the time and money to do everything for my last BMD, Denali, who died of cancer at age 4 (may he be resting in peace, as my heart is eternally broken). Unfortunately for Ziggy, since she didn't tell me this it took 7 months of his suffering for me and the vets to figure out what was wrong when the breeder knew all along. So it turned out after meds and tests and biopsies galore that he is allergic to/intolerant of corn, wheat, soy, dairy, and ALL meat except fish. I have tried feeding him everything that bleeds, except humans. (Heck - I would've given him a kidney if it would help!!!)
Bio:
Ziggy is my baby boy and always will be. He is the kindest pup. He raised one of my kitties, Miou-Miou, from when she was less than 1 pound, playing with her, teaching her limits with playing, grooming her. He loves everyone. I use Ziggy to help introduce foster cats and dogs to other dogs, as he is so gentle and will never fight with anyone, even if they bite him... He is a truly gentle soul.
