Arrival Story:
Gus is a rescue dog from Fulton County Animal Services. When I picked him up he was about 3 months old, 30lbs, and very very sick. Through lots of TLC and some help from friends along the way (Ella, Doc Mac, et al..) he kicked his illness and started to grow. Then one day I realized that he never stopped. He is 115lbs of love who thinks he is still 30lbs. Now many years later I am the very proud parent of what I would consider to be the poster boy of the Rottweiler breed. He is so in love with children, that the first baby he ever met (Aidan) he proceeded to guard for the entire weekend, not even letting his parents near him until I had to call him off. To this day one of his greatest loves are children. He is a road dog at heart, we are still working on Gus's world tour, so far we have hit about 13 stops, and covered over 2000 miles. He loves a good swim he has been in the Atlantic, Chesapeake Bay, and 2 of the 5 great lakes amongst other places.
